I survived Kimodameshi 7!!! And I meant to post these last week when it ended/earlier for ff6's 31st anniversary, but most of my spoons have been allocated to being a caregiver.

The last three poses screamed: kefka (ugh, I know), Mash/Sabin (originally a buff-ass lady, but I couldn't see Celes doing this pose), and 3 kids in Mobliz + Tina/Terra. (I added Tina and the plant to the original image)

Overall, I'm pleased with the results of the 31 day human-ish figure challenge. It gave me an excuse to draw every day (draw or die!), and the daily pose challenges were very engaging, plus I could incorporate my ff6 friends. I plan on doing more challenges in the future... but I missed having freedom to do abstracts when spoons were low. So definitely doing the July challenge on Sade's server. (I should upload the rest of the January images, haha)

When I do another challenge (I joined a few other art servers for challenges, but I'm not feeling them...), I'm going to try using new brushes and tools. I got really comfortable using layers and a few new textures with this project. And I feel more confident with human anatomy to where I don't necessarily rely on references.

But I'm taking a bit of a breather for the next little while. I'll probably make a lot of processing/therapeutic art when this phase is over.
