The MOCA Store, 250 S Grand Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90012
It’s expensive but high on style and clever, quirky products. The Museum of Contemporary Art Store has artsy books, notepads, toys, jewelry, cute cards, magazines, jackets designed by artists, bags, a kid’s section, posters and more. In conjunction with the current Mike Kelley exhibit, they have Mike Kelly items like t-shirts ($20 and up) and Opening Ceremony/Mike Kelley tote bags.
My picks:
* Marcel Dzama man on a lion kids t-shirt
* Yoshitomo Nara bunny t-shirt

Artist and critic Jeremy Gilbert-Rolfe will be at the MOCA Store on Grand Avenue this Wednesday, April 2, at 7:00pm, for a conversation and book signing of Art After Deconstruction, a new collection of essays and interviews that continue his argument for the return of aesthetics in contemporary art. Gilbert-Rolfe discussed the various facets of his paintings, from conception to execution, in this unconventional artist talk with Rebecca Norton.

We 've been looking at the Mike Kelley catalogue, getting ready for the show to open at MOCA on March 31.
This thematic retrospective catalogue is the most comprehensive volume ever published on the iconoclastic American art Mike Kelley, featuring essays, a fully annotated plate section and a newly researched and revised biography and bibliography of Kelley's work.

Just dropped off yet another batch of "Baggleridge" print sets at the MOCA Store here in Los Angeles. They are selling very quickly, our stock is dwindling fast. Make sure to stop by and pick up a set before they run out!
