Sunna Wehrmeijer will be on The Hunger Games Soundtrack
The Dutch composer Sunna Wehrmeijer will soon be heard in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1. She is a vocalist on the soundtrack from the third film in The Hunger Games-trilogy that will be in theaters on November 19.
Wehrmeijer (30) hums a melody that is part of the background music in the film. Fans from the films with Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen will recognize the tune from the second part of the series, Catching Fire.
The composer lives and works in Los Angeles since 2007. She works with huge Hollywood-productions such as Maleficent with Angelina Jolie, After Earth with Will Smith and Jaden Smith, Prometheus and Robin Hood from Ridley Scott. Recently she composed the music for Nightcrawler with Jake Gyllenhaal. Earlier this year, Wehrmeijer got nominated for an Emmy Award for the music she wrote for an American commercial.
