Mockingjay Part 2 is amazing! I honestly couldn't fault it. Not that there weren't some changes but they didn't take away from the experience at all for me. Everything was so beautifully done by the actors, editors, writers, directors, sfx artists and makeup artists... It was just so incredible. I think I said this last year and if not I should have, but Josh Hutcherson needs a damn award for his performance in these movies. Ugh. Guys. So. Good. This movie had absolutely everything, such moving performances from all the actors and the sets and costumes and makeup were just stunning. I hope they're all really proud of what they've created. I'm really sad that this was the last Hunger Games premiere midnight-screening I'll ever attend, but this movie was a great way to finish. I can't believe it's over but I'm so happy with the end result. p.s if you haven't seen it, bring tissues. I forgot.
i want wild and lively and passionate and present; they make for the best people. finished The Heir by @partylikeawordstar sunday (better than The Selection as far as I'm concerned + surprisingly I did like it. Keira's books are feminine in the best way). now onto THG by Suzanne Collins because #MockingjayPartTwo #18daysleft (oh my heart) and The Treatment by Suzanne Young. swear just the other day I was donning my fav orange top (note: peeta's fav color) and watching THG w all my friends sat, March 24, 2012. life is weird. have the greatest november + national writing month and happy national authors day to the most unique, beautiful type of people. love alwayzz [edit: I accidentally wrote march 2013 first. IT'S BEEN 3 YEARS?!]
A few more “real” scenes . . . wink wink.
The new trailer for Mockingjay: Part 2 is set to be shown before Avengers: Age of Ultron, and the film itself is slated to hit theaters in November. But before that date, the filmmakers have reported that there is still work to do. Director Francis Lawrence explained that some aspects of the movie still need to be tweaked and a few “real” scenes still need to be shot, whatever that means. Fans will have to wonder if Lawrence is making any last minute changes to the Hunger Games storyline to leave a gap open for sequels and prequels.
