Collection: Starlight Holiday 2015 (OPI) Retail Price: $17.95 (USD) for the trio

An Affair in Red Square: This shade is a gorgeous red shimmer. I can't get over how much I love this color; I know it will feature prominently on my nails throughout the holidays. The formula for this shade is great and goes on smooth, making for an almost effortlessly clean manicure. In the photo above, I am wearing two coats of nail polish.

Mod About You: This shade is a soft, pastel pink with a creme finish, and it may look familiar because Mod About You was also included in the 2014 Pink of Hearts duo! I went ahead and swatched it again, and just like before, I find the formula is a bit too thick, so make sure you wait long enough between coats of nail poilsh (or else you'll get bald spots in your mani!). In the photo above, I am wearing two coats of Mod About You.

By the Light of the Moon: This shade is a metallic silver with silver hex glitter throughout. It looks so lovely in the bottle, but when I was painting my nails, it was impossible to get the glitter to cooperate. Moreover, the metallic silver base is quite opaque, so it covers up all the glitter. In a sense, this does make the finished look appear as you might imagine the surface of the moon, but if you're going for bottle "color" (where the glitter isn't covered by the metallic silver base), it's not gonna happen. In the photo above, I'm only wearing one coat of By the Light of the Moon!

This trio is a part of the Starlight Holiday 2015 collection, which is a magical collection in and of itself. An Affair in Red Square is STUNNING, and it's really the only color I love from the trio, but with the inclusion of Swarovski crystals (and nail glue), I'd definitely spring for the trio. Great gift for yourself or for a friend—or both!

Mod About You: This shade is a soft pink with a creme finish. In the photo above, I needed two coats for full coverage, although if you're careful, one coat actually may be enough. The formula is on the thicker side, so make sure you allow enough time for drying in-between coats.  In the past few years, this is my favorite pink that has been included in the Pink of Hearts duo pack! The thing I love most is it's obviously perfect for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but you can bring it back for your spring wardrobe, too.

The Power of Pink: This sparkly nail polish features a sheer pink base packed with both micro and macro confetti in light and dark pink hues. Worn alone, you can achieve a subtle glittery look. Personally, I love the effect of pairing it with Mod About You. In the photo above, I'm wearing one coat of The Power of Pink over two coats of Mod About You. This combination is great for a dazzling manicure, or perhaps for an accent nail.
