Tempest, Zoya’s Color of the Month for October, is a deep blackened green shot through with golden microglitter. It flips the script on your usual autumn shades, and I absolutely love it!

The formula is forgiving and smooth, and two coats easily gave me full, even coverage. Once dry, the gold sparkle shifts subtly, sometimes discreet, sometimes radiant, always a lovely surprise. And don't forget to finish up with your favorite glossy top coat.

Tempest reminds me of autumn’s fading greens, when flashes of gold leaves start to scatter through the trees. This color can also carry you from fall into the holidays without missing a beat. It's dark enough to feel grounded, and bright enough to be fun. And am I the only one who thinks of Wicked? Consider that an added bonus!

Seren, Zoya's Color of the Month for December, is a deep royal blue jelly polish packed with holographic glitter and shimmering blue micro glitter, creating a mesmerizing, reflective effect. Only two coats of Seren gave me full coverage, but I bet you could make it work with just one if you're really careful with your application. Note that the glitter dries bumpy, so you'll want to pair this with a glossy top coat for a smooth finish.

Honestly, I love the icy, cool look of this color, and the glitter reminds me of snow. Bold, elegant, and with a touch of whimsy, Seren is perfect for holiday parties, family gatherings, or just adding a touch of sparkle to your everyday style this winter!

Color: Wilson (Zoya) Retail Price: $12.00 (USD)

Wilson, Zoya's Color of the Month for November, is a mesmerizing blackberry purple holographic nail polish infused with shimmering rose gold micro-glitter. The formula in my bottle was really thick, so I'm not sure if that was an anomaly. Regardless, it was opaque in two coats (perhaps you could manage it in one if the formula in your bottle is a little easier to work with!). Like all of Zoya's glitter polishes, this one dries bumpy, so be sure to finish the look with your favorite glossy top coat.

I have mixed feelings about this one. While I think the blackberry color is interesting, it just feels too close to black right after the October Color of the Month was black glitter. Will we ever see nail polishes in this series that are shimmers, frosts, or other interesting formulas that don't always include glitter? Surprise me a little more, Zoya!

Color: Viper (Zoya) Retail Price: $12.00 (USD)

Viper, Zoya's Color of the Month for October, is a black jelly polish with small silver holographic glitter throughout. Only two coats of Viper gave me full coverage. The formula is on the thicker side, and the glitter dries bumpy, so you'll want to pair this with a glossy top coat for the full holo effect.

Glitter over black nails isn't new as a concept, but it's a classic for a reason. It's practically a staple for spooky, moody goths and ghouls. And under the sun, the glitter in Viper reflects a rainbow of twinkling colors, which makes it perfect for transitioning into the holiday season with The Nightmare Before Christmas vibes.

Color: Ashby (Zoya) Retail Price: $12.00 (USD)

Ashby, Zoya's Color of the Month for September, is a rich burgundy metallic infused with shimmering microglitters in gold and bronze. It's the perfect shade for fall—deep, warm, and with just the right amount of sparkle to capture the cozy, festive spirit of the season.

Here, I'm wearing two coats of Ashby, which gave me full, even coverage and really brought out the richness of the color. The formula is smooth and easy to apply, drying down with a gorgeous metallic sheen. Be sure to top it off with your favorite glossy top coat to complete the look. I tend to love maroons, so it's not a stretch for me to be in love with Ashby. If you want a fall nail color that stands out but still feels classic, Ashby is a must-try!

Color: Frankie (Zoya) Retail Price: $12.00 (USD)

Frankie, Zoya's Color of the Month for July, is a neon hot watermelon red creme. It so perfectly reflects the shade of the freshest, most crisp summer watermelon that I keep wanting to describe this nail color as juicy. Really, this shade will make you feel all your favorite parts of July, and it's packaged so sweetly inside a bottle of nail polish.

If that wasn't good enough, would you believe Frankie is opaque in only one coat? The formula is perfect, and application is so smooth and easy! Because it's a neon shade, this color dries matte, so be sure to pair it with your favorite glossy top coat to ensure maximum wear. Frankie is definitely one of my favorites this summer. You need a bottle, too!

Collection: Bloom - Spring 2024 (Zoya) Retail Price: $12.00 (USD) per bottle

Fleur: This is a classic spring pink cream that makes me think of flowers. Such a perfect pink for this collection! Here, I am wearing two coats of Fleur. In the bottle, it is incredibly similar to Phoebe—also in this collection—except Fleur is slightly brighter. Out of the two, Fleur is the shade I prefer.

Violetta: I love a good purple, and this is no different! Violetta is a warm purple with microfine holographic, aqua and rose gold glitter. The multicolor glitter reminds me of flowers, which makes this shade an incredible addition to this collection! However, the glitter makes the formula a little heavy. In order to prevent your manicure from pulling between coats, you'll need to give each coat plenty of time to dry to avoid bald spots on your nails. Here, I am wearing two coats of Violetta.

Phoebe: Hmm...Zoya describes this shade as something that's balance between red, pink, and coral tones, but I really don't see the red! It's definitely more of a mid-tone pink cream balanced across pink and coral. To the eye, it is extremely close to Fleur, also from this collection. If you're waffling between the two, Phoebe is slightly more saturated, while Fleur is a little brighter and leans closer to neon. Opaque in only two coats!

Hyacinth: This shade is the most subtle of the bunch, and you could even go with only one coat if you really want to fly under the radar. Hyacinth is a candy pink with holographic and white microglitter. It reminds me of the glitter version of Zoya's color of the month for April, aptly named Candy! Here, I am wearing two coats of Hyacinth; however, like Violetta, the formula is a little heavy, so give yourself a little extra drying time between coats!

Zaria: This shade is so saturated and vibrant and gorgeous! Easily my favorite from the collection. Zaria is deep spring rose pink cream. You'll absolutely want to use a base coat with this one. It's so pigmented that it dries a little matte! But your favorite glossy top coat will get that settled. Here, I am wearing two coats of Zaria. If you're careful, you might even be able to get away with just one!

Rhiannon: This shade is a vibrant icy blue with microfine holographic, aqua, and white glitter. It's a lovely companion color to Violetta and also shares the same heavy formula as Violetta and Hyacinth. Here, I am wearing two coats of Rhiannon.

This spring 2024 Bloom collection is full of cool undertones and reminds me of all the sweet, happy pops of color that ease us from winter to spring. I'm not averse to pink, but I still think it's a little too heavy on the shades of pink. My favorite from the bunch is Zaria, with an honorable mention going to Violetta.

Color: Paisley (Zoya) Retail Price: $12.00 (USD)

Paisley, Zoya's Color of the Month for May, is a cheerful wisteria violet creme. It's somehow both elegant and neon, which I didn't realize was possible! Honestly, you need this shade on your nails. It looks interesting in the bottle, but it's so unique once it's on your nails. If you liked Candy, Zoya's Color of the Month for April, Paisley is her lilac twin, and you should probably complete the set!

Here, I am wearing two coats of Paisley. It dries slightly matte due to the neon pigment, so be sure to pair it with your favorite top coat to ensure maximum wear. I love a good purple, so this one's a keeper for me!

Color: Candy (Zoya) Retail Price: $12.00 (USD)

Candy, Zoya's April Color of the Month, is a playful white pink candy creme. If you like neons and pastels, this nail polish with cool undertones is the best of both worlds.

Here, I am wearing two coats of Candy. It dries matte, so I find that also means it dries quicker, making application a little easier since there's less chance a second coat will "pull" on the first coat. And due to the matte finish, be absolutely certain to pair it with your favorite top coat to ensure maximum wear.

Color: Lucky (Zoya) Retail Price: $12.00 (USD)

Lucky, Zoya's March Color of the Month, is a vibrant four-leaf clover green infused with gold and blue glitter. That unexpected mix of glitters makes the green even more unique and stunning. I received so many compliments all week while it was on my nails!

Here, I am wearing two coats of Lucky. Unfortunately, the formula is on the thicker side, and that made application a little tricky at times. However, it was well worth the effort because the color is just so eye-catching! And with all that sparkly glitter, you'll definitely want to top it off with your glossiest top coat!

Colors: Rekha (Zoya), Shannon (Zoya), White On White (China Glaze), Biscuit (Zoya)

It's been a minute since I've posted nail art, but I'm excited about this sweet Valentine's Day manicure! I love how it seems like I've scattered heart-shaped sprinkles all over my nails.

To achieve the look, select a nude-colored nail polish as your base manicure, and then use 1-3 contrasting colors for the hearts all over your nails. Use a dotting tool to create the top part of a heart's shape, and use a skinny brush dipped in nail polish to complete the heart shape. If you're especially skilled, you could even get away with drawing a "V" shape with the dotting tool to create a heart that way. Put hearts all over your nails like I have, or choose one or two nails for an accent manicure.

For a fun twist, you can use pastel colors to create a look reminiscent of Sweethearts candy! Tag me if you try out this manicure. I'd love to see you come up with!

The aptly named Love, Zoya's February Color of the Month, is a dynamic red nail polish that sparkles with a mix of micro and macro glitters. The base is a jelly-like formula that further emphasizes the depth of this shade. It makes application so easy, and provides options for a couple different looks depending on how many coats you use.

Here, I am wearing two coats of Love. The jelly base really makes it simple to achieve a stunning glitter finish that covers the entire nail. You'll want to top it off with your glossiest top coat for the sweetest candy-coated finish this Valentine's Day! Love is one of my favorites this year!

Color: Vienna (Zoya) Retail Price: $12.00 (USD)

Vienna, Zoya's December Color of the Month, is a dazzling liquid gold metallic nail polish that sparkles with a mix of hex shimmer, flakes, gold and iridescent micro shimmer. It's elegant enough for the fanciest holiday parties, and the perfect festive touch to add some glamour to an ordinary day.

I love a good glitter nail polish, and I really appreciate how this one is packed with sparkle yet somehow manages to appear subtle too. It's a work-safe shade in my eyes.

For me, application was a little tricky, and I think it's because so much glitter is packed into every bottle. I needed to wait a little longer that usual to make sure each coat was properly dry so I could avoid bald patches on my nails. Here, I am wearing two coats of Vienna.

Collection: Magical - Holiday 2023 (Zoya) Retail Price: $12.00 (USD) per bottle

Bisoux: Packed with rose gold and holographic glitter, Bisoux is perfect for a sweet and playful ice princess look for any winter party. Zoya describes this shade as a delicate opal pink, but it leans more towards lilac in some lighting. Away from direct light, it almost resembles the color of my natural nail...if it was covered in holographic bling! Bisoux has a great formula that is mostly opaque in two coats, but I would recommend a third to be sure you cover any potentially visible nail line.

Vixen: This black cherry creme is the perfect vampy shade that can straddle both autumn and winter. The formula is so smooth and applies like a dream! Opaque in only two coats—one if you're really careful! This is a surprising color for a holiday collection, but it really rounds out the others and makes me think of cozy moments and spiced mulled wine.

Cherri: Hmm...Zoya describes this as a classic red creme with blue undertones, but it looks way more magenta for me. It is slightly darker on my nails than it is in the bottle, and those blue undertones really give this shade an icy feel that's perfect for the winter months. Unfortunately, the formula for this one was a bit of a mess for me. Application was really streaky, and in spite of the fact that Cherri is incredibly pigmented (use a base coat!), I needed three coats for full coverage. This shade dries matte, so you'll absolutely need to pair it with your favorite top coat.

Inez: This shade is a beautiful magenta mixed with gold microflakes. It is so beautiful in the bottle...but on my nail, all the gold gets covered up! I love a surprise gold glitter accent, so Inez wasn't nearly as interesting and sparkly as I hoped. Still, the formula is great and makes even application really easy. Opaque in only two coats—one if you're very careful!

Adara: Hands down the most interesting shade of the bunch, Adara is a deep lapis blue with gold and blue glitter that is opaque in two coats. Unlike Inez, the glitter doesn't get completely covered up when applied to the nail, so there is a subtle yet noticeable sparkle to a finished manicure, even in low lighting. Adara is perfect for all those Starry Night manicures, or for anyone who'd like to make a statement with their nails (isn't that all of us?).

Farleigh: This is a dazzling oyster shell shade packed with holographic glitter. Similar to Bisoux, in some lighting this nail polish looks just slightly lilac, and in other lighting, it looks to be a grey-blue. Either way, Farleigh is giving the perfect ice queen vibes. It is opaque in just two coats, but like Bisoux, I would recommend a third coat just to be sure you have full coverage.

This holiday 2023 Magical collection makes me nostalgic for the icy elegance of a Winter Snow Ball from my past: decor a symphony of whites and silvers, dimmed lights casting everything in deep blue hues, gowns flowing like freshly fallen snow and dotting the dance floor with cheery pops of color, and twinkling fairy lights like stars plotted across a winter sky. Zoya absolutely nailed the concept! Adara is my favorite of the bunch, with Vixen and Bisoux tied for a close second.

Color: Amaris (Zoya) Retail Price: $12.00 (USD)

Amaris, Zoya's November Color of the Month, is a stunning deep electric blue nail polish absolutely packed with micro glitter and holographic glitter. The most subtle movement of your fingertips will cause flashes of emerald, sapphire, and ruby to flicker like sequins across your nails. It's like the most magical starry night!

Like all gemtones, this shade is flattering on all skintones. I only needed two coats of Amaris to achieve bottle color. For November, which is usually rife with warm reds and golds, Amaris makes a bold statement that will carry you right into winter. This one's a keeper!
