resting is not shameful. it just isn't! no matter what you are resting and recovering from. it's okay to need rest, even if it's from activities other people find to be really simple. it's going to be okay.

Can you have adhd and be able to focus in class? if I have an hour long lecture I can focus well for maybe the first 45 but those last 15 I’m gone. I can take notes and be able to pay attention and understand but only for a certain time before I’m zapped and then it’s so much harder to stay focused/understand or at least stop myself from multitasking. Maybe this is more neurotypical tiredness/boredom? I think on average I can expect to retain/focus on 75% of a class. Am I overthinking normal?
You can still be able to focus but still have ADHD!
Peoples “severity” and how it affects them all vary in what parts of lives it messes with. I could almost always pay attention in class pretty well with no problem at all but if you asked me to do a tedious task that I found uninteresting there is no way I could focus. The biggest thing is because ADHD isn’t necessarily a deficit of attention but not having enough stimulus! So that first 45 minutes of a lecture is stimulating enough to keep you focused but either your mental energy is wiped after that or it’s no longer stimulating enough. The multitasking is a result of your brain trying to stimulate itself! The key thing about ADHD is that honestly ADHD has nothing to do with how well you do at staying still or quiet in class or how good your grades are. It’s literally a different way of working through things and thinking things. Abilities in class just tend to be the guide since most people get diagnosed as children and kids are in school 7 hours a day and 5 days a week (at least in the US).I hope this helps!-Mod Blythe
paranoia can be so hard to deal with, and i'm proud of you for coping the best that you can with it. be sure to be gentle to yourself, you deserve the compassion.
may every endogenic plural live fulfilling and happy lives. it's what they deserve. yes, even you.
the day just gets better whenever a plural butch arrives on the scene, especially if the plural butch is a trans woman.
the day that someone makes the choice to be plural is always a beautiful day in some way, and we are so very happy to have you here in our community.
your existence does not inherently need a reason behind it. you're fine as you are, having spontaneously come into existence.
i hope schizogenic plurals have a wonderful day today, they more than deserve it.
