if you repeatedly have scary thoughts about identity and what would happen to you if you don't know who you are, and this fear leads to to persistently searching for identity? and making sure Repeatedly that you're absolutely correct and right because you have scary thoughts about being wrong?

my pal, that is intrusive thoughts and obsessive compulsions. those can be themed around anything, including identity. and yes, this can absolutely cause you to split repeatedly.

i was thinking about why i like writing info about our singletsona, giving fun facts about our life, filling out those “intro to me! :)” papers, stuff like that yknow, and…

its just an oc. i like writing about our singletsona because its not me its a character ive built. and yeah people know me as this character but honestly that part isnt on my mind much

i like drawing our body because. its my oc. but seeing our body in the mirror? fuckkk thats too real now

-> About our system:

We consider ourselves an adaptive mixed origin system. We do not see our plurality as inherently disabling or disordered, but we are impacted by other disorders.

Our system was formed from severe, lasting childhood abuse and trauma. This impacts our entire system, and we prefer to use adaptive over traumagenic.

Not all alters are entirely adaptive, with some alters being created or spontaneous in origin.

Yes, it's me again if anyone remembers me, with a new sideblog after the deletion of the last. More details and updates under the cut-

We ended up deleting our past blog after vehement and relentless harassment from a specific user. It was a last ditch effort to get it to stop so I could finally distance and feel safe, this experience was awful and severely triggered our paranoia in a way that still lingers. Someone misused my trust and deliberately hurt me with it.

I have no intention to return to syscourse, I've checked the tag every once in awhile and... it's really just the same monotonous and boring debates and arguments from before I left. I loved debating, I loved talking about personal experiences and hearing others! But I think it's better for me to keep away from syscourse now.

In the time we've been gone, we've had some developments and realizations about our system, and I think there's still a lot for us to learn about ourselves. It does have us questioning if DID may be more fitting than we thought... but it's hard to feel safe calling ourselves a DID system still.

I hope to focus on just posting about us, and art, and positivity, and just... stuff about being plural at all.

I am doing better, admittedly I'm hesitant to return, but I miss having a dedicated space for our system.

To all the wonderful people I was able to meet before and those who offered support and kind words during our struggles, thank you. It meant the world during everything that had happened.

Modular System (With and without the symbol) -> Flag created by us

Modular systems are systems containing of many fragments that will "merge" or "stack together" to form temporary purpose-based headmates , and "breaking apart" again afterwards.

A common analogy is Lego bricks: each fragment can be represented by a separate brick, which assemble to create someone on the fly. The system member is then easily disassembled and the bricks exist separately once more. [Hence this flag's symbol being a Lego]

This flag can also be used as a Modular Spectrum flag (which is just the experience of a plural that is somewhere in between Modular and non-modular)
