I tried looking to see if this had already been asked and I didnt see it, but I am wondering your thoughts on prosthetic limbs? I was born w/o my left leg and my OC is the same way and uses a running prosthetic, but my friend argued it's not realistic bc they would make her a real one. What do you think?
Hi! I believe prosthetic limbs are perfectly fine in Narutoverse. Mainly because replacement limbs weren’t created by Tsunade until after chapter 699. Therefore if your character exists prior to this, it is likely they would have given her a prosthetic. However, if your character gets their replacement limb after chapter 699 and you’d rather your character have a prosthetic you could say that your character can not afford a replacement limb. This could work because we don’t know if the people of the Narutoverse have insurance or if they have to pay for medical things, such as this, outright. Or your OC could choose to not have a replacement limb, kind of like how Sasuke chose not to have one. I hope this helped you out! :)

I think naruto is an open world for anything, whether that involves different types of prosthetic limbs or not. I’ve seen countless OCs with countless types of prosthetics and I have to say I love the idea of a running prosthetic. Also I don’t know what your friend means by “a real one” but all prosthetics are real ones in a world where people can make wooden puppets move like people and ink come alive.
