i just want to say that i recently got back into ahit after several years and went back to modding for the game again. the immense joy i felt when i decided to check up on this project again and saw y'all are around and well :3 i'm so happy to see that. hope everything goes well! looking forward to the future of this again! :D

That's great to hear! Sorry that we haven't posted anything sense april though, and the (likely) first thing you've seen was a lazy April Fools prank. To be honest, things have been kinda slow on the development side.

Right now, it's like, 4 people actively working on the project, and three of us have had Life™ happen.

We're doing fine now though, and things should be picking back up soon!

2025 was certainly a year of all time, but in terms of A Date in Time, I'd say that it's been one of our vest in a long time!

We had revived the game, and swiftly started work, getting an artstyle pinned down and eben making designs for Hat Kid and Snatcher!

As for 2026? Well, we've got a biiiit of a surprise coming up! It was meant to be shown last year, but life troubles and holidays delayed it. But it shouldn't take too long now!

You want me to say what the surprise is? And just... Spoil it? Just like that?!

You're just gonna have to wait. And if you can't... Well, I'm just gonna hitcha with the Tube.

this might be an odd question/probably not an option with how difficult it’d be BUT i still wanted to ask, would there be a chance at an option to toggle MJs pronouns? Seeing as a lot of ppl view him as they/them rather than he, seeing as their entire role as a character is kinda been left to fan interpretation, it would be neat to allow players to get that same flexibility with hcs and such, seeing as it’s a dating sim

but again i know good and well that’s a HUGE suggestion hence im just humoring the thought, not actually asking it to be implemented, just wanted to throw the idea out there for funsies lol, hope you all have a great day, keep up the work! The level of passion/dedication as a long time follower is inspiring !!

Honestly, out of all of the ideas pitched so far, having MJ be identified with he/they pronouns is the only direction we seem to be able to agree upon.

Did you guys scrap any of the art made previously by any of the former artists who are no longer on the project? I see the sprite being redone for Hat Kid and Snatcher.

Yeah, we did. Mostly cuz' we were going for a more unified artstyle compared to previous builds.

@sentix has been the only artist so far, and I fully recrommend followin' him on the socials! Dude's art is AMAZING and I will never stop sayin' that.
