You mentioned once that Peter Dekkerd's butterflies end up helping to trap the not!them in a table! Is that still the same? If so, can we hear more about it?
for a better explanation, it's not actually a table! Peter builds a model of a chrysalis- out of what, I'm not entirely decided on yet so you're all welcome to toss ideas our way- and that's what the not!them is trapped in. The butterflies themselves don't help, but Peter did take inspiration from his knowledge of them!
Completely forgot to include this in the ask but here is a picrew of Peter Dekker! (I don't currently have the ability to lend my artistic rendition of him to the blog since my phone is out of commission but rest assured I'll be remedying this as soon as I have a replacement!)
Peter Dekkerd? Wasn't Dekkered the guy who gave Robinson the C4? I can't quite remember.
Also, does Peter Dekkerd own or sail a ship?
He was! But no, he doesn't own or sail a ship. Instead he's got a very lucrative private ground shipping business, though most shipments he's got drivers for and doesn't usually see to himself (unless, of course, it's something special for Robinson, in which case he jumps at the excuse to go personally visit him at the Institute).
The shipping thing is really just a side deal to go along with his main venture, which is a butterfly and moth conservation garden sanctuary.
He raises rare and endangered species of moths and butterflies while simultaneously educating the public on how to help local wild species thrive.
He also does still trap the not!them, but, it isn't in a table.
