THERE'S A LONELY EYES DIVORCE ARC??? HELLO???? PLEASE SAY MORE RIGHT NOW!!!!

so. i may have been a little late on "Right Now"

BUT. THE LONELY EYES DIVORCE ARC. To start things off: We have 4 players in this mess:

Jonah Magnus, James Stacey, Peter Dekker, and Elias Robinson.

During the time of "Jonah in James's Brain" (Pre-Elias) the two of them met Peter. Jonah falls head over heels, but James could not care less. But, he decides to string Peter along, well aware of how good a partner he could be. Jonah is blissfully unaware, assuming James is just as into Peter as he is.

After James's death and Jonah's move to Elias's brain, he realizes just how shit James *actually* was to Peter. He does a rather poor job explaining this to Peter (And may have a break down or two) and Peter ends up distancing himself from Jonah.

Soon after, Elias has to call Peter because "Jonah is Yearning SO MUCH I can't do my work. Come talk to him or something." Sometime after that they all get together in the world's funniest polycule.

So, a little bird told me that Peter and Dekker are swapped, so Peter does stuff like supply C4 for the Unknowing, but also that Peter and Elias are dating!

How does that work out with Jonah partially possessing Elias? Does Peter know about it?

Peter knows! Peter was dating Jonah (Via James) before Elias took over. All 3 of them are kinda in a poly relationship? But it's like. 2.5 people. They're having a great time tho.

Finally got around to drawing this comic I’ve been thinking about for a bit, in which Peter wakes up to a number of missed calls after the Not-Them’s attack on the institute, and Elias fails to explain anything.

Peter Dekker, the Truck Driver! Very fun! What Fear is he associated with, if any? Does he also supply Elias with weed along with the C4?

Yes.

I sent this ask to Mod Cupcake and we both instantly agreed that it was the funniest possibility and therefore canon without question.

You mentioned once that Peter Dekkerd's butterflies end up helping to trap the not!them in a table! Is that still the same? If so, can we hear more about it?

for a better explanation, it's not actually a table! Peter builds a model of a chrysalis- out of what, I'm not entirely decided on yet so you're all welcome to toss ideas our way- and that's what the not!them is trapped in. The butterflies themselves don't help, but Peter did take inspiration from his knowledge of them!
