PLOT
During a pride march based in Tokyo, it got really out of hand and many people were killed. Before this happened, Valarie Agaki formed a group called Sunset, and dubbed her mission "The Sunset Project". The group's mission was to gain full rights and end violence against LGBTQAI+ persons not just in Japan, but internationally. She admired the generations of the past, as they had made efforts to regain their rights, however they were unsuccessful. She saw the flaws in their protests made it her life purpose to finish what they had started. She named her group after the rainbow moth called the Sunset Moth. She thought it represented how Heterosexuality was a butterfly and Queerness or Homosexuality was a gross moth, when in actual fact, the moth was beautiful and shunned simply because it was a moth. She anonymously led the march on October 8th, however some very angry people in her group had rampaged and killed anyone who dare object. Because of this mass scale incident with over 100 deaths, the Japanese government shut down any rights they had and prevented LGBTQAI+ content from being discussed. Anything not cis or straight was forbidden with penalty, forcing Valarie and her girlfriend Aerora to take the mission undercover. She operated from behind the scenes, having her hetero friends take the information needed and bringing it back to her and Rora. This way, they are trying to find loopholes and corruption to bring back her rights.
