I haven’t drawn something like this in such a long time tbh this took forever.
Her team’s not complete yet, I still need to finish profiles, but I really like her anyway.
Since I’ve had some of these characters for a long time, I have some lore for them as well haha. I thought I’d post some to sort of give more background to the characters.
PLACES/THINGS OF INTEREST:
- VALE:
Crystal Technologies :
*Related to Tune Crystal
A small technology company run by Aria Crystal. It was founded some years ago by the current head’s grandfather making it a fairly recent company. Originally it was created to help provide technology for those who suffered during the old war but nowadays the company focuses on simple household appliances and various communication devices. They’re not as big or well renowned as some of the other technology companies and cannot be compared to the works of someone like Ironwood, but the company still strives under Aria Crystal’s deep ambition for what she does.
Though this ambition combined with heavy greed has led Aria during the recent years to do experiments to boost her company, these acts could easily be seen as desperate and shocking.
Kuchinawa Bathhouse and Inn :
*Related to Venus Thekla
A house founded by the elderly Chitose Kuchinawa made in Vale to be simple bathhouse and inn for those seeking a simple yet relaxing vacation. Though that simple relaxing front hides a much deeper and complex group that runs a sort of benevolent underground for Faunus called the Kuchinawa Household. Not much of a difference in name. The group is only known by those who are either Faunus or Faunus allies. They strive for equality and help to hide those who are targeted by either White Fang or anti-Faunus extremists. The household members consist of seven young Faunus girls who are well trained in the art of combat to protect the house and those who reside in it.
While there are eight Faunus members in the entire Kuchinawa Household (including Lady Chitose; the head) , the number has the possibility to grow and extend to even beyond Faunus. It is also possible for the benevolent underground to transcend the borders of Vale towards the other kingdoms.
Peony Market Street :
*Related to Rowan Spinel & Zacharee Lazuli
A little market street in Vale. Though despite it’s name it houses little shops such as Spinel Antiques, Bennie’s Weapons & Parts, and Lapis Tattoo Parlour. Nothing much else to say about it really.
The Nobles HQ :
*Related to Vin Jade-Orchid
A group of neutral mercenaries throughout Remnant who don’t exactly have a set moral standard. Because of this they can be hired to do anything for anyone, criminal or not. To be a Noble, one must set aside morality for duty; duty above the human heart. Though good payment is good too. If you can afford their services they will be loyal and do their duty. Morality only stands when they cannot be paid. While they are scattered about Remnant, they have a small base in Vale for the purpose of housing if needed.
- MISTRAL :
Callaina Bakery :
*Related to Chris Jean Callaina
The Callaina family is a family that started out years ago with a Faunus couple who decided to go into baking. A couple of generations later as the bakery company grew the Faunus trait was still going strong. Soon came the birth of Teale and Jaye Callaina; twin brothers who became the inheritors of the company. With Teale as the eldest brother it was him who would take over the company, but especially with the birth of his daughter Chris Jean he decided to keep the Faunus heritage a secret from the public: not that the family’s Faunus heritage wasn’t a secret to begin with.
Jaye however decided to embrace it. Because he was of Faunus, he chose to separate himself from the Bakery Industry and start his own corporation; Siren Call. What they do is basically a lot of pedestrian protection especially during White Fang riots etc. They corp consists of both Humans and Faunus as a way to show that both can work together. However because of this he had to leave his own daughter Ruri at the Callaina main house.
Chris Jean doesn’t know of her uncle’s company and Ruri was not allowed to say anything. Both girls are in the running for the Bakery Industry for their safety, though Chris Jean seems to have other ideas.
Siren Call HQ :
