Feminism itself as a concept isn't entirely bad, but modern feminism being performed by social justice warriors gets very over the top, and just loses the original meaning of the movement, just engaging in fake activism and calling it feminism instead of actual social equality. In this day and age, nobody's a true feminist that follows its genuine principles, they're all phonies stealing and misusing the label.

Spotlight Length Announcement✨
The polls have concluded for the spotlight length, and the general consensus was to have it be 1 week long, or 7 days long. However, after talking with the other mods, we've made the decision to up it to 8-10 days.
This is because we are concerned that people don't realize how short a week is! We understand that you are excited to get to your turn and your fankids, but 1 week is an extremely short time, especially during busier months. If any complications occur, we will discuss the times further, but with 10 day long spotlights we will be able to show off 36 fankids yearly!
If you are concerned about this, please let us know in a respectful way.
are you going to rotate the kids based on ships?
I ask bc taking the first come first serve approach to showcasing will probably make it so there are weeks and weeks of kids from the same ship, since friends will likely submit together and be into the same ships, especially if they are popular.
just a suggestion, but randomizing it a bit if you get similar fan kids back to back might be a good thing
we are not going to be randomizing beyond the first few submissions before we begin; so far, we have a very even pool of ships, including single parent kids! If this becomes a problem, we will talk about randomizing, but as of now we won't be randomizing past the first few showcases. This is just meant to be showcasing fankids of any ship not among the banned ones; it is a possibility that there could be multiple sonadow or knuxouge or espilver kids in a row, but the point is to showcase the fankid regardless of ship

Will the queue be public so people can prep for their gifts?
To answer this, the queue will not be public. We decided to keep it private, as we were worried if we made the queue public, people could pick and choose what fankids they wanted to draw for and prepare incredibly detailedly things they wouldn't have done otherwise. I personally have had the idea of revealing the next spotlight character a few days before the end of the current one, but again I'll have to talk to the other mods about that part
