In my AU, Diamonds that aren't part of the main four/three have control over all the different aspects (culture, industry, science & technology, etc.) of Homeworld's society. Based on that, what sorts of things do you think Red Diamond, Champagne Diamond, Green Diamond, and Gray Diamond would control?

Red Diamond - Military, invasions, of that sort. They could have control over many soldier gems (rose, jasper, ruby, carnelian...)

Champagne Diamond - focus on gem hierarchy, laws, perhaps gem production even, and discipline. 

Green Diamond - Science and technology - ruling over peridots and other gems who work on technology, pilots, maybe even scouting out other planets (with help from some little rubies)

Grey Diamond - Wew I’m not so sure about this one... industry? Part of me really wants to assign a grey diamond to penitentiary job, prisons, jails, etc. Perhaps off-homeworld discipline and control?

What're some gemstones that could protrude from a gem's head like a horn? Y'know, ones that're big & long and/or vaguely horn-shaped?

Well, Any gem who’s gem is on their head could do this (excluding gems who don’t appear to have a weapon). I’d recommend any gem in the quartz family (quartzes, agates, amethysts...) As they would be most likely to fight with their head (battering rams, headbutts...)

Abilities for Black Agate? Thank you!

Well, an agate is in the quartz family, so they would be strong like other quartzes. We have however seen quartzes with flame abilities. Agates are made to “Terrify”, so I could see a black agate having some sort of shadow manipulating powers. Other mods, any ideas?

Weapon for a mint diamond and a mint pearl?

Well I don’t know exactly what kind of weapon a diamond would have, but perhaps shields. I can also imagine Diamonds having very intense magical abilities. Large, intimidating, and crushing weapons would also work very well like hammers. Specifically for a mint diamond... Perhaps some kind of very tall mace / morning star that also functions as a staff or scepter. 

A We have only seen one pearl’s weapon so we can assume they are all tall and long like pears as well. Perhaps a long (bamboo like) rod, or a scythe.

Personality and powers for hope Diamond? Thank you!

Diamonds are said to intensify emotions and energies, even negative, so she could be a bit neurotic.  If you want to keep it relevant to her name, she could have a faith / religious role in homeworld society. I can’t speak much on powers, since we haven’t seen any canon diamond powers, but maybe emotional manipulation.
