Saves The Queen

(Ledger! Joker X Reader)

(Y/n)'s POV

It was dark out as I walked down the street to mine and Jokers shared apartment. I frown slightly as I saw the windows opened telling me someone was or is in the house. I send a quick text to Joker before making my way in. 

“You’re in control Rid of the monsters inside your head. Put all your faults to bed You can be King. You’ve got it all You lost your mind in the sound. There’s so much more, you can reclaim your crown. You’re in control. Rid of the monsters inside your head. Put all your faults to bed. You can be King again. ” I sang softly as I opened the door and put my things down.

I stopped pretending I just found the window open. I grabbed a bat then heard someone walking in the shadows of the apartment. “It very rude you go into someones house without permission or a warrant.” I said as I saw Batman come out of the shadows. 

“You coming with me.” He said as I looked at him confused and titled my head at him. “For what?” I asked as I placed the bat on the table next to a male model magazine. “We know you with the Joker.” Batman said as looked at me. “If you say so.” I mumbled as I walked toward him.

Time Skip

I was sitting at the interrogation room looking at the two way mirror knowing fully well people are watching me. “Go on, take it out, take it out on me/ Cause you know I'm the only one who knows what you need/ You want me to be guilty/ To be the one who's wrong/ So easy to blame me/ It's been that way for so long.” I sang softly as I tapped my fingers.

“Go on, go on and hurt the one that you love/ Go on and make me the one that you want to hate/ If it makes you feel better/ Go on, go on and give me the best that you've got/ Go on and make me the villain I'm not/ If it makes you feel better.” I sang as Gordon came in to the room with a cup and a bag.

“I know no one's ever been there for you/ And I know that you think I'm only gonna hurt you too/ So you accuse me that I'm guilty/ Like you want it all to go wrong/ So easy to blame me/ It's been that way for so long.” I sang as Gordon sat down. “I bought you something to eat and some water.” He said as I look at him.

“Thanks.” I said softly as I took the cup of water. “So why am I here for?” I asked leaning back as I pretended to drink the water only for me to smell something off about it. “We know your with the Joker. Just tell us where he is.” He said as he showed me picture of me and Joker together.

“Interesting.” I mumbled as I put the cup down while looking at the pictures. “I don’t really know where he is and even if I do I would never tell you.” I said looking at him. “Why are you with him?” Gordon asked causing em to lean back and pop my neck.

“Why is everyone with someone? I pretty sure the Batman has a pretty little thing at him house or cave.” I said shrugging my shoulder as I look around. “He doesn’t love you.” Gordon said causing me to raise an eyebrow. “Well it the closes to love I well ever get.” I said shrugging my shoulder as I looked down.

“You don’t have any family?” He asked me as I look at the plate of food with a sad and pained look. “They where murdered.” I said as I let a tear rolled down my cheek. “Joker helped me caught the people involve and killed them all for me.” I said softly as I whipped my tears away.

“So if he loves me or not. I’m grateful.” I said looking at Gordon as I saw the look of pity in his eyes. “I’m sure if you whole family dies you would want revenge.” I said as I switch thing around. “Does it depress you? To know just how alone you really are?” I asked him as he looked at me.

My left hand twitch slightly as my sense suddenly heightens causing me to tense up. “What is it?” Gordon asked as I quickly stood up and held my head. “Stay away from me.” I growled as I saw him walked towards me. I turned as punch the window causing it to crack as I then crumbled to the floor.

“Get the medic.” Gordon yelled as I looked at his chair then looked at the door. The chair moved quickly to the door preventing the door to be opened. “He’s here.” I said getting up and quickly pushed Gordon down. I took the cup of water and pictures before flipping the tabled down and knocked out Gordon as a bomb went off.

“My Queen.~” I heard as I got up as smiled. “My king.” I said then heard someone banging at the window. “Thought you might never come for me.” I said softly as I wrapped my arms around his neck. “And uh... why that?” He asked as I grin at him. “You took too long.” I teased causing him to grin at me as we walked to the hole in the wall.

“We got the Queen. Let get out of here.” Joker said as the goons started the car and drove off. “They tried to poison me or something.” I said as I gave him the cup of water. He glared at it them smelled it before throwing it out. “And someone is betraying us.” I said as I lend agent his ear as I showed him the picture of us.

"What do we do to them?" Joker asked with a knowing smile. "We kill them of course." I purred as I kissed his cheek smearing the white makeup on my lips and nose. "That's my girl." He purred as he grabbed my chin and kissed me.
