Big Announcement

Well it’s finally time. We made an update post a while ago about the status on the project and we’ve made a decision. The Homestuck Rewrite project is officially closing.  We the mods and the team are all saddened to make this call but we all agree that it was the right one. With dwindling support, members, and interest the plug has been pulled on this almost 2 year long project. But it wasn’t for naught! Even though an update never came out that doesn’t mean that there’s nothing to show. 

We’ll be posting ever piece of writing, concept art, notes, and maybe even some documents that we can find just so you all who have stayed with us can see the vision we had for this project. 

We will also be opening up the Discord we’ve been using as a general hang out space for people who were interested in the project and wanted to see some of the history of it, for various fandoms, and a place to connect with former and current Homestuck fans. But again, we are so, so, sorry that this project never finished. It was started by a bunch of kids who were upset at the epilogues and bit off more than we could chew. 

We hope to see you, the followers, your friends, and maybe even the former members of the project return to the Discord to catch up and have some fun.

Hi there! Maybe I missed something because I haven't used Discord in so long but its been a week since I joined and verified but I can't use any channels? So I just wanted to see if there was a stop i missed?

Hello, I’m sorry to hear that, if you don’t mind sending (privately if you prefer) your discord username I can take a look and see what the issue is on our end, and hopefully get you all set to chat.

Sometimes discord can be finicky with verifications or loading correctly.

This project is really interesting, and I was wondering if there are any positions you need filled specifically. I'd love to help, and I have a wide skill set. Looking at the list of positions, I should be able to do nearly anything there? I only really know the basics of coding, but I'm a quirk learner, and have access to someone who can quickly teach me more. I've never attempted to copy the homestuck art style, and that would be the most difficult thing for me to attempt, but I'm willing to try!

Hello!!! Currently we're only looking for artists because that's what we need right now to get an update out, but other roles like writers, creative team, or coders will be needed soon. If you have experience with MSPFA that would also be helpful! But don't feel shy and apply with what skills you have, we're always happy to have more members to our team :)

Hey, I just recently joined the Kalluzeb discord but and I did the not a bot verification and everything, but I dont have access to anything?? Im lowkey suoer new to discord so its very likley that Im just slightly stupid, but I have no clue 😭😭

So is this gonna be a rewrite as in its a completely different story, or ur keeping the general/major plot points of the epilogues & hs^2 but ur making it better? I’m sure whatever y’all make is gonna be great ^_^

Our plan is to first give Homestuck itself a proper ending, starting at the end of Act 7. From there we’re going to throw the epilogues and hs^2 into a trashcan and rewrite it, major plot points and all. So the result should end up looking pretty different. Hope this helps!
