Introducing the MSPA Fanwork Wiki Project
This is an ambitious, volunteer project that is attempting to make a wiki for fanwork in Homestuck (and other MSPA works), expanding on the limited wiki presence of Homestuck on Fanlore.org. This project was started by @laurasauras and is gaining support. If you would like to join, feel free to message this blog, the twitter or Laurasauras to get access to the Discord server. The purpose of the server is to avoid people doubling up and making two of the same page, as a lot of work can go into setting up a wiki page, as well as to encourage a sense of community and enthusiasm around the project. As the project is still getting set up at the time of me writing this message, it's possible that it may change and evolve. At minimum, I hope that this collection of pages will be useful as an introduction to the fanwork that goes hand in hand with Homestuck.
New fans will be able to use it as a reference point for "essential" viewing, and will know the context of the works. (e.g. Rex Duodecim Angelus deserves a wiki page about the attention to detail that the various contributors put into making a perfectly accurate Black King defeat based on canon.)
At best, this could be a, if not comprehensive, sprawling guide to the best parts of the Homestuck fandom.
The nature of Homestuck is that its fans have contributed to it from the very beginning. Hussie recently reminded us that we, the fans, still have work to do. Let's help people navigate that space!
