Mod Devani (@lunarsolareclipse) reblogged that and they don’t check the inbox, so I’ll message them and ask them to add on to this post.

Although I don’t know anything about the user in question, it’s likely that Devani reblogged their pics accidentally if that person isn’t trans since this is a blog only for TPOC selfies. If the person is trans, then it’s fine for their selfies to be here. I just did a quick search on their blog and I saw a post from last year where they said they used to ID as genderfluid and are now back to questioning, so Idk what their current identity is but it’s possible they are trans.

Edit: Mod Devani says that the user came out as genderfluid which falls under the trans umbrella so it’s fine for their pics to be here! All trans folk are welcome on this blog and that includes non-binary folk. 

We occasionally get messages saying that a user isn’t trans, especially if they’re an afab nonbinary person who presents with a feminine gender expression or an amab nonbinary person who presents masculinely, and that isn’t chill. If someone identifies as trans then that’s that and they’re welcome here.

Hi I love ur blog so much!! It's very important and good but u tagged someone who is intersex as Afab? And unless intersex person says they are specifically ok being labelled as Afab or amab we shouldn't tag them as that? Or maybe starting now you don't divide selfies among Afab or amab...? Or having a selfie tag for intersex people..?

I’m not sure what post you’re referring to, but we don’t tag anyone’s selfies as AFAB or AMAB when we reblog them- it was an option that was included in the submission box for people to self select if they wanted to. 

So if this person submitted a post and tagged themself as afab, then that’s their choice.

Can we submit pics even if we're hella light skinned??? Like seriously white passing light?

If you identify as a person of color then you can submit a picture, even if you’re white passing. Hope that helps!

reduce my dysphoria in my very anti-LGBT+ household but it gets really bad and I don't know what subtle ways I can use to lessen it.

It can really help to come out to people who will support you and not out you to your family, whether that’s in a semi-anon blog or other online space or with irl friends. The Coming out page has info on coming out to friends.

I hope those who celebrate Christmas had a good holiday!

I know it can be a tough day for some trans people because of the people who misuse religion to say you’re not valid, the potential for gendered presents, getting deadnames on presents, and unaccepting family or no family.

There’s a lot of pressure to be merry and cheerful and appreviative of all your gifts, but it’s okay if you felt upset and didn’t like a gift or had a hard time coping with the misgendering. You don’t have to feel guilty for being unhappy on Christmas.

If your Christmas wasn’t ideal, I’m proud of you for getting though it!
