More of a personal question for the mods, but do any of you follow other moodboard blogs? For example, if one of you wants a board do you ask another mod, make it yourself, ask another blog, or something else? I don't make boards but I request them from a few different blogs and I got the question of how the mods get their own requests filled.
James: I make it a point to not follow any other aesthetic blogs, half because I’m petty, and half because I don’t want to subconsciously copy their posts. But I have followed one! @lgbt-boards! They’re great. And whenever I want an aesthetic, I just make it myself!
Quinn: I do follow other aesthetic/moodboard blogs! I love seeing what others make. However, I don’t really follow a lot of other LGBT+ aesthetic/moodboard blogs. The only one that I do actually follow (that isn’t like LGBT+ fandom aesthetic blog) is the one James already mentioned. And when it comes to aesthetic I want I might ask other blogs or make it myself depending on the topic of aesthetic.
Presley: uhhhh, I probably do bc I don’t typically unfollow blogs and they were probably before I was a part of this blog. Usually, I’ll just make one for myself (My lock screen is an aesthetic I made for myself), but I’ll occasionally send one in and automatically feel bad bc their followers throw fits about things that our blog is more chill with. TLDR: I follow some aesthetic blogs and occasionally send them requests.
Maddy: oh, sure! actually I follow @lgbt-boards, they’re great! but I don’t tend to ask other people for boards because I just make them myself :)
