of course! juvana is sweet balm for the soul!

neither of them are very lowkey about their feelings, if we have to be fair 

juvia is kind of shy but also very affectionate, so its easy to put two and two together about who she fancies 

cana is pretty outspoken and she makes it clear, perhaps in not so many words, about who and how she likes 

so its no surprise that the guild is quietly expecting the first step

there’s, of course, a betting ring about who will and how will and when will

(cana’s tried to get in, to be fair, but since she’s one of the people directly involved, mira didn’t allow her)

so you have these two just circling each other, being very gross but never getting their shit together and fucking spit it out 

its infuriating, for everyone around them and for cana herself

juvia is blissfully unaware of all the drama surrounding the situation, of course 

(she’s just. b a d. at reading the mood.)

cana doesn’t deny that’s she’s tried to do it. multiple times.

but for some goddamn reason, fate seems to be against them, always interrupting them, or calling juvia away, or causing the dumbest kind of trouble 

people are keeping tabs on different stuff that happens

like that time around valentines that cana tried to ask juvia out, but ended up thrown into the decorations by a flying table

or that time on the beach when she wanted to ask her to go grab ice cream together, but was slammed by a wave caused by natsu and gray

at this point everyone is just waiting for the moment cana goes batshit and just screams it all out 

until one day 

its winter, snow gently falling down the streets 

and juvia comes in the guild, snowflakes covering her hair like a small crown

and she goes to cana, who is sitting on her place by the bar, as always

and juvia looks at her, only at her, and smiles, and softly asks if cana would like to come with her to visit her parents

(as her girlfriend)

cana stares, for about a minute, heat slowly filling her face

juvia waites

(so does the guild. everyone is just waiting)

and cana whispers a very soft “yes”

theres another beat of silence

and then the guild ERUPTS with cheers 

juvia is utterly confused but cana is smiling so wide and oh, she’s pulling her in and—

and cana kisses her, smack on the lips, and juvia swoons because gay

(they are very gay)

it’s snowing outside when natsu manages to drag him out of the house, snowflakes fluttering in the air.

“and where exactly are we going?” gajeel asks in a mildly annoyed tone, adjusting his scarf. a snowflake lands on the tip of his nose.

“on a walk, idiot,” natsu says with a smile written over their stupidly cute face. “haven’t you heard of them?”

gajeel rolls his eyes and flicks his partner. natsu whines and rubs the center of their forehead. 

“couldn’t the walk wait until a reasonable time?” the sky is still dark. “it’s not even six in the morning!”

“it’s more fun when there’s no one around,” natsu says. then, they take his hand and lace up their fingers together. “c’mon, grumpy pants.”

gajeel looks up at the sky and sighs.

“alright, alright. the things i do for love.”

natsu snorts softly, then reaches on their toes and presses a kiss to his cheek. despite the cold air around them, their touch is warm, always so warm, and gajeel cannot help but smile. 

“alright, firefly, let’s go now before we get covered in snow.”

natsu gives him the kind of smile that makes his chest constrict and walks up ahead, tugging on his hand as they do. gajeel follows easily, the snow crunching under his boots.

magnolia is oddly beautiful in the twilight of before-dawn, snow covering every inch of it. their boots leave the first marks in the fresh, pure white blanket. natsu’s footprints are all over the place, chaotic and messy. gajeel’s are more reserved but they follow natsu’s to the heel.

their walk is peaceful and gajeel finds out he likes it. he misses the comfortable bed with his partner, sure, but the cold air is refreshing and natsu’s little excited noises when they see something they like make him smile. they are painfully cute when they don’t notice it and cannot help but love it. it makes him want to pinch their cheeks and kiss them stupid. 

(mavis, he’s turning into a sap.)

natsu stops somewhere and gajeel almost runs into them, gripping their shoulder in order to regain his balance.

“what’s the matter, firefly?” he asks, looking down at them.

natsu smiles at him and gestures towards the houses lined up the street they’re by. everything is covered in lights — strings of colors lamps over the walls, the windows, the trees. in the soft darkness of pre-dawn, it’s beautiful, gajeel has to admit.

then he turns towards his partner. their eyes shine in the soft fairy lights, bringing out the flecks of hazel hidden in the dark green.

oh. that’s definitely more beautiful. his ears grow red.

“do you like the lights?” he asks quietly, his fingers gently nudging their hand.

natsu nods and reaches out to touch one of the small, colorful lamps. 

“do you want us to get some for home? we can always put them up.”

natsu hums, then smiles — it’s the soft kind of smile that always makes his belly fill with butterflies.

“yeah. i wanna.” they look at him and take his hand, squeezing his fingers. “let’s go watch the sunrise by the hill, yeah?”

gajeel smiles and nods, ignoring the heat spreading over his face, and lets them lead him to the hill.

For me, Juvia knew she was bi from a very young age but isolated herself from everyone as ‘the rain woman’

Things didn’t get better after she joined phantom because they were a super like gross environment

But Juvia saw Gajeel coming from a one night stand with a guy and they were like the Spider-Man pointing at spider man meme

“You’re bi!” “You’re bi!”

That’s when they became so close and open with each other

Joining fairy tail was like a fever dream because of people like Lucy, Cana, Gray, Loke, bicklsow… all chaotically bi / pan and super open about it

That encouraged Juvia to come out and when she came out she Came The Fuck Out

Juvia, leaning against the wall and pretending to faint dramatically: how ever will I cope with such beauty in the world

ok mine is a lot more simple but i like to think juvia makes herself pride items. 

she’s very good at knitting so she makes tons of sweaters, scarves and hats

i also think that, since she lived in the closet for so many years, shes really chill and supportive of all her friends who are struggling with their identity

she also finds a way to incorporate the flag somehow in her everyday outfit, like her belt, or a bracelet
