Hi lovelies! This is a silly question or two... I was just wondering if Neil Gaiman was OK with it? I was just a bit worried as I think it said on his blog he wasn't keen on profit things that weren't just single original pieces? Is the money raised going to charity? That might be one way round it but of course that might put people off ( I'd be happy with it personally tho) Also just wondered if printers will be checked for ethics/ environmental stuff? ( it would be awesome if possible ) xxx

Hello! To first address your question about Neil: no, we do not officially have his permission. A message was sent but we have yet to receive a response. The proceeds of this project will be donated to a charity to help conserve the rainforests. (You can vote here)

We are in the process of researching potential printers and would love to have an environmentally conscious, ethical business chosen, if possible. However, the choices for card printing are few, so we can’t promise we’ll be able to achieve that. It is something we have been keeping in mind, and have been filtering out some potential merch manufacturers due to their treatment of workers.

is there some sort of "limit" to the portfolio? for example, if my ao3 profile has quite a number of fics that amount to over a hundred thousand words, should I make a collection instead with a lesser amount of works in it?

Hello! There is no limit to the portfolio. Whichever body of work you wish to present to us will work; we will look through it as needed. The only limitation on what you submit is on the examples, at 2,000-3,000 words each.
