To tell y'all the truth

She Noticed AU wasn't its own AU at first.

When I first thought of it, I was writing two MCD fics: one where it was a novelization and the other where Irene was a queen of Angels (and one of them got trapped in Aphmau's body instead of Irene being "asleep").

She Noticed was going to be part of the novelization, and it was going to go into more detail of Zenix, how he became a Shadow Knight and why his betrayal hit everyone hard.

I had Zenix written down as an awkward, but brotherly figure, who slowly deteriorated the more and more everyone saw Aph as the Lord.

The novel version of Aph was supposed to pick up on that, and be concerned, and when he snaps and almost kills Garroth (someone who canonically helped raise him judging by how he stated he found/saved Zenix and that the knight in training couldn't be any older than 19 when Aph came) it must've been like almost becoming a Shadow Knight again.

Or, at least, that's how I headcanon it.

You'll be getting some Zenix flashbacks within the next three She Noticed installments, I promise :)

A general question for everyone: how we potentially feel for a Shockwave/OC fic that starts before his empurata? There's an OC I have, Blazetrailer, I want to write for, and I think they'd be the perfect sacrifice character to use!

I'd like to formally apologize to @insanely-creative-things, who I have been messaging nonstop about what I just learned 'cause we got to talking about a fic I'm writing for her in my spare time and I was Lore Diving.

Anyways, Bayverse!Optimus and Bayverse!Megatron are split-spark twins! They can talk to each other in their heads at any distance! They feel immense pain when the other dies! They can transform together and make a strong-as-hell alt-mode!

I knew I wasn't going insane when I read that somewhere, it said they were brothers/twins. It's a one-off line at the end of the first movie but expanded on more in the books/comics/OG scripts.

We were robbed of so much Cybertronian culture from those movies, I don't think they understand that we don't want explosions, we want

LORE.
