It’s no problem! I like doing research anyhow, and I found that angels, in a sense do exist in Greek Mythos. In the one myth their depicted as fallen angels rather, who became mortal over time. There’s also Eros/Cupid, the winged Cherub and Hermes with the winged sandals and sometimes literal wings. Though, even though angels don’t technically exist in Hellenic mythos, there’s been quite a few angels, including myself, who’ve existed and interacted with certain time periods. I know for me, as Orifiel, I spent some time in Ancient Greece, but mostly Ancient Egypt! But all in all, you’ll know what works best for you and your beliefs and what makes you happiest! I hope this was helpful though! - Mod Orifiel
Hey hey it’s your local useless classics major just popping in to add that daimonia (sing. daimon) could also be worth looking into! Daimon (where we get the word for “demon” for, but don’t let that put you off) are considered divine beings (or sometimes less-than-divine nature-related spirits). They are also associated with a “guardian angel” concept, where your daimon may give you luck or inspiration. Burkert (Greek Religion/1985) talks a bit about daimon, but I haven’t read that section myself. As far as I can recall, I can’t remember seeing a description of what a typical daimon looks like, so if you’re relating to more of the “typical” angel (humanoid w/ wings), you could also be a non-Abrahamic angel, which totally exists!
