Hello hello!!

This is a quick intro for me, the new mod.

I go by Orion, my pronouns are he/him (but I don't mind other pronouns being used on me), and I'm genderqueer, and I am bi and on the aroace spectrum. I'm happy to be running this blog now, and I will do my best to answer any questions you may have :)

I'll be editing this to be a better pinned post later today, but for now I'd just like everyone to know that I would prefer if asks/submissions are kept SFW. I know that people's definitions of SFW can vary, so what I mean by it is explicit talk about sex.

We made the sys4sin and sin4sys tags (systems for singlets/singlets for systems) and have been using it for a long time without telling anyone besides our partner.

Hello Spones community! We have TWO big announcements to share with you today.

ONE: We Go Together, a Spones Zine interest check is now open! You can fill it out here: https://forms.gle/tXEBxYFssDiX7WY57 The form will be open from today, May 1st, until June 26th, 2023. We've also put together a carrd page with more information about the zine: https://sponeszine.carrd.co/

TWO: Mark your calendars, Spones Day is June 26th! We are dedicating June 26th as Official Spones Day in celebration of the Spock/McCoy relationship. Post new art, fic, meta, or whatever you want on Spones Day and be sure to use the tag #Spones Day if you share on social media.

Plenty of other ships in Star Trek and other fandoms have a dedicated "day" to celebrate their ship, and we thought, "why not make one for Spones?" This date was chosen by the We Go Together Zine committee as it is the day in between June 1 (the release date for The Search for Spock) and July 22 (the release date for Star Trek: Beyond). Those movies were also number 1 and 2 in our "favorite moments" poll, so it is no coincidence those releases had a huge impact on the Spones community across generations.

June 26th will also coincide with our interest check closing and the start of Summer of Spones, an annual creation event run by @fuckyeahspones.

We will periodically post reminders about the interest check. It's a short form, please fill it out and send it along to anyone you know who might be interested. We want your feedback! We Go Together Zine is a collaborative effort, and will be made all the more better by your interest and input.

Is Apollo a new upcoming character? I’ve been rewatching the confinement series bc I was feeling nostalgic after talking abt scp stuff w a friend and I haven’t joined discord so I’m not rlly in the know abt any recent stuff and i literally just found the confinement tumblr today and saw refs to them but I can’t find them in any of the eps

Yes! Apollo is a character in the near future that will be extremely important, so keep an eye out for the little guy!

This updated design lineup was made before we decided to split the next episode into two, but in order the characters are Minerva, Dr. Wilson, Connor, Natalie and Apollo!
