They could be a spy. People believe that the Tiger Eye gemstone was a “all seeing eye” and could give people the ability to observe everything and the ability to see through doors. So their job could be to sneak into enemy hideouts and to gather info. 

They can also be a soldier (since Tiger’s eye is a type of quartz) that specializes in long range combat (like they could be a sniper for example). Since the Tiger’s Eye gemstone is believed to improve people’s eyesight, and give them nearly perfect vision.

Tanzenite Homeworld Roles:

They could be a magician, since Tanzenites are also known as the “Stone of Magic”. They could entertain other gems by using magic tricks. The more higher ranking Tanzenites could be court jesters, their job being to entertain their Diamond and other high ranking gems. 

Tanzenite is also known as the “Workaholic’s Stone”, because it is supposed to be able to relax people. So their job could be helping high ranking gems to relax and unwind. For example, they could be a acupuncturist, massage therapist, or they can work for the gem equivalent of a spa.
