Elite Axinite & her Pearl, Rust/Rusty

Short character descriptions under the cut!

Axinite is one of Homeworld's Elite Gems, acting as a right hand for the Diamonds. She's the head of the Elite counsel, consisting of her colleagues; Heliodor, Celestite, Obsidian & Goshenite. Originally made for Yellow Diamond's colony, she now answers to/carries out the will of each Diamond as needed. She also manages a few groups of Gems, and helps to oversee a couple different research facilities for the Diamonds. When in public she tends to sport her cape, as shown on the right, but in her own dwelling or when relaxing with her comrades, she dons the more casual one piece uniform on the left.

Axinite is approximately 8,000 years old & stands between 10-12ft tall. Her weapon is an axe (not shown) & she has Ferrokinesis (ability to control/manipulate metal). The metal cuffs around her wrists are engraved with the Era 2 Diamond Authority symbol. These cuffs are an accessory that not only tells other Gems who she is, but the bracers themselves have purpose, as she can manipulate them to her will using her metal bending ability. She's smart but tends to act oblivious more often than not, she's quiet, patient, resourceful & isn't afraid to play dirty to get things done. Her two most prominent motivations are ensuring that she lives well, answering to as few Gems as possible, and mintaining the status quo of the Diamond Authority.

Her Pearl, whom she nicknamed Rust, is similar to her in personality, though Rusty doesn't often act less aware & is very observant. Rust Pearl has been with Axinite since before the Elite was promoted/formed the Elite counsel & is happy to serve her. She is treated rather fair, as far as Pearls go, being allowed many privileges that most Pearls aren't, such as advising on some things, moving around independently with little (or sometimes no) guard escort, making some decisions for herself, being silly or mischievous on occasion, & has near-unlimited permission to enter Axinite's personal bubble (so long as the Elite isn't in a bad mood). She is a fairly quiet Gem, much like her Master, but in the same sense, she's not afraid of getting her gloves dirty if need be. Rusty has been know to entertain Axinite or Axinite's guests, much like a Spinel would.

idk if youve done them before (couldnt find them in the tag search) but I would LOVE to see your take on: an Axinite, an Idocrase Fusion and an Aventurine (either single Gem or Fusion, your choice)?

Axinite

The Gem-destabilizing forcefield on the Hand Ship? I like to think these gems may be to blame. I don't imagine them being very powerful gems but I also don't imagine them being low. Maybe they're just at a Peridot-gem level since it's also very tech-like.

Aventurine

Since it's a type of quartz, I wanted to make it similar. Because it has a special effect that can make it glisten/shimmer (AKA aventurescence) I thought it could focus more on search-scout than warrior-gem quartzes are. Also why I gave it glasses

Aventurines are used for decoration in terms of use so I don't think they're specifically strong. Their name also means "by chance" (in spanish aventurine sounds like aventura, adventure) lol

Not 100% sure of her job tho oops, since they can shine maybe its a kind of gem that can be on a specific place (like pearls with the reef)
