How do I like.. Deal with the fact that I have memories that my course definitely doesn't have? It's mostly the traumatic memories that I struggle with because it feels like I'm not allowed to have those memories because it like... "demonizes" other real life people.. like I know those real people haven't done anything like that (well.. I mean.. at least not to me they probably haven't) so it feels wrong to have memories of that happening and it feels wrong to be triggered by them... it's okay to be canon divergent even as a factive. i understand it's probably a lot harder to accept considering it feels like..... "disrespectful" to people's real life counterparts, but the fact it, it happened to *you*, and it is so so so valid and allowed for you to be triggered by those memories. i'm sending lots of hugs, if you want them.

we may be taking a break for a bit. the whole. recent stuff in tags has got to us and it's hard to stay active when we don't know if we're going to see stuff every time we open this site.
not a factive myself but do u have any advice on accepting factives w/in ur own system ?
factives outside of our sys r so cool ! we think they r awesome ! but we think we may have a factive and we r having a hard time being okay w them when so many other systems talk bad abt factives :c
just treat them like any other member of your system. you should ask if they want to be seen as their source or not, though as most of us have very different opinions from person to person :)
