Day 1 - Classic AUs
Hey! Are you still active? I was wondering how different characters would react to finding a little orphan baby half-vampire after their mother was executed for being a witch. The baby would be killed if they took it to an orphanage for being a creature of the night so they’re kinda stuck between leaving it to starve or taking it with them. Thank you! I read your blog and I must say that you do a mighty fine job! Please keep up the good work!! :D 👌👌

She’s taking the baby, it doesn’t matter what species it is.
What to feed it... blood? Milk? Solid food? She honestly doesn’t know at first.
She asks Alucard
He tells her to treat it like a normal baby.
Don’t give it to the church lol
Honestly I see her giving the baby to her native speaker troupe. Since she can’t take care of it given she’s traveling with Trevor.
She couldn’t allow herself to put the infant in danger and have it be eaten by night horde creatures.
Trevor
As you may know, he’s always on the road and his life is fairly bleak and dark given his “occupation”.
He can’t take care of an infant.
He will leave the baby, especially when he learns of its origins. He can’t let himself get caught up in that.
However, his conscious kicks in as he’s trying to walk away. ‘Oh....for fucks sake. I couldn’t very well leave you there to die.’
If he had to keep it over night, he’d definitely risk his life to keep it from the night creatures
I feel like some stranger would offer to take the baby off his hands but before that happens he’d investigate to make sure they’re not people who kill children for entertainment. (Yes I’m referencing the fucking Judge)
Alucard
On the bright side, upon finding the child he won’t be alone anymore.
He deserves some kind of happiness yes? Maybe an infant of the same kind would do him good.
Being a half vampire human hybrid himself, he knows exactly how to care for the infant.
He knows they age quickly too, he’d be prepared to be an excellent teacher.
He’s overprotective, both of their mothers shared the same fate and given the infants helplessness he was sure someone would try to kill it.
Not happening tho. Alucard hovers and they’d even tag along on his foraging in the mornings and mid afternoons.
He knows they can’t speak but it quite entertaining to hear the baby’s engaging coos.
