Mana (Malice Mizer/Moi dix Mois)
from Wiki: “Mana (Japanese: 魔名) is a Japanese musician, songwriter, record producer, and fashion designer,[1] best known as guitarist of the visual kei rock band Malice Mizer from 1992 to 2001. A year after they went on indefinite hiatus, Mana formed his solo project, the gothic metal band Moi dix Mois. His clothing label, Moi-même-Moitié, helped popularize the Gothic Lolita fashion movement.”
he’s a crossdresser (self-described as onnagata), whose mysterious image (his real name is unknown and he’s not willing to talk or publish info about himself in most cases) has led many people to believe he was actually female, which was dispelled.
he’s also one of the creators and composers of the Malice Mizer band, and a talented musician who used several different instruments (including guitars, keyboard and drums) in his career. apparently also has his own clothing brand, and a more recent solo musical project.
his exact age isn’t known either (very secretive guy), but given he’s been active as a musician since 1986, he would be in his 40s or 50s today, and would be at least in his 30s while active in Malice Mizer.
seeing gnc men older than 25, especially the ones that didn’t masculinise beyond the point of no return with age, is giving me life, really. I hate the notion that we’re supposed to “expire” in our mid to late 20s and have no presence in public sphere when we stop being attractive sex objects for consumption in the eyes of more masculine men. so yeah, this is really motivating.
