The next few days will be a bit quieter, as we'll have to go through the nominations, figure out how to tackle the bracket size/seeding/etc (We're gonna try to get every character in who fit the rules!), and will even leave a few submissions up to community vote if they're to be included or not if they were a little close to that line of falling within the rules or not!

Things are very hectic in our personal lives this coming month, so all we ask is to be patient while we set things up! :D

I am extremely intrigued to hear your thoughts on Random in regards to Blitzwing's whole everything. If you feel so inclined, please share.

Okay okay It'll be it's own post that we've yet to put together but like I'll give you a sneak preview of some points we wanted to make (shhhhh don't tell mod jetfire)

On protecting the body physically and emotionally (this is kinda the main thesis and will be the majority of talking points/analysis in the full post):

Icy: Protection via Detachment

Hothead: Protection via Aggression

Random: Protection via Deflection

Despite having canonized nicknames, they all choose to self-identify as Blitzwing! This implies that the names of each faceplate are in fact nicknames rather than each individual's preferred full name.

Look at how Random does his question marks. Mans is so extra. Don't have a point to this I just wanted to show it off.

Also my scorching Random take: Random is actually the mediator if the system. We will elaborate in the full post but trust me on this when I say that Random is the most self-aware of the system's needs and safety, but is often the most effective at carrying those needs out as well

Azure -> what/who inspired you to run this competition?

Okay okay so I was seeing a lot of competitions for [identity]-swag, a lot at the time being around gender/sexuality, but I was also seeing specific ones! "Best [fandom] character" "duo-off" etc etc

Funny enough, I think the one I was getting hyped over the most at the time was the Robot Husband Poll because you'll never believe it but we're in a Transformers hyperfix (I know, I know, we're being so subtle. It's almost like we all picked Transformers characters as our mod names /s)

Anyways I had polls for less than 24 hours before I was like "i wANNA DO MY OWN TOURNAMENT!!!" But like most gender/sexuality/fandom stuff was being done and I wasn't sure what I could do... but then I was like "I LIKE DISSOCIATIVE CHARACTERS" and hERE WE ARE
