So effectively what I'm hearing is that Aku's fursona would be akin to the changelings from mlp. Continuing this line of questioning, I ask you— what do you think Scaramouche's fursona is/would be?

if you ask scaramouche what his fursona is he'll say "hold on" and leave and come back and show you this picture

and he says "just lose the human and paint it purple and add some Aku silhouette decals and install some speakers—"

and you say "no a fursona is supposed to be an animal" and Scaramouche says "this is an animal to me babe"

and you say "well it has to be anthropomorphized. you know, human shaped."

and he says "okay and how do you anthropomorphize a motorcycle"

and now somebody has to explain transformers to him.

in that scaraku fic i'm going to eventually finally finish someday Scaramouche texts Aku at 3 a.m. "hey boss if i was a bug what kind of a bug would i be" and Aku says "jumping spider" and I think Scaramouche would accept any fursona Aku assigns him

I think it's precisely because Skarsgard's Pennywise has almost no filter that it's so entertaining to watch. Like with Ingrid after the Black Spot fire, it makes the barest effort to pretend to be her father and then immediately and promptly informs her that he's going to sleep. It's double funny when he's forced into other situations, like when Halloran trapped him in the Bob Gray illusion. He looked like a raccoon presented with a puzzle box; extremely confused and mildly distressed.

Yes! He has the filter of a Walmart fish tank and very patchy acting skills, which is why his victims tend to be kids, desperate and/or crazy adults, and drunk, sad middle aged men in clown makeup.

Also, it's astonishing how much Skarsgard's Pennywise is just the cosmic equivalent of a raccoon that accidentally fell into a house with an open fridge. He's obviously going to go around breaking shit and touching everything, but his chief interest is gorging himself and then falling asleep.

I am extremely intrigued to hear your thoughts on Random in regards to Blitzwing's whole everything. If you feel so inclined, please share.

Okay okay It'll be it's own post that we've yet to put together but like I'll give you a sneak preview of some points we wanted to make (shhhhh don't tell mod jetfire)

On protecting the body physically and emotionally (this is kinda the main thesis and will be the majority of talking points/analysis in the full post):

Icy: Protection via Detachment

Hothead: Protection via Aggression

Random: Protection via Deflection

Despite having canonized nicknames, they all choose to self-identify as Blitzwing! This implies that the names of each faceplate are in fact nicknames rather than each individual's preferred full name.

Look at how Random does his question marks. Mans is so extra. Don't have a point to this I just wanted to show it off.

Also my scorching Random take: Random is actually the mediator if the system. We will elaborate in the full post but trust me on this when I say that Random is the most self-aware of the system's needs and safety, but is often the most effective at carrying those needs out as well

I will get to the Phantos and Eda interactions, I promise, but let me ask you in return; what does Eda think of Maelstrom, Viceglide, Posthaste and the crew?

Eda is somewhat wary of Maelstrom, and not entirely because she's a mnemosurgeon. She radiates her classic morbid curiosity often enough to set off Eda like a Geiger counter; she reminds him of Quintus, and not in a good way. Chances are that he'd take measures to avoid her whenever possible, which might only make her more curious, to his dismay. It's ironic, in this context, that his neck is one of the few weak points in his armor - but then again, it'd be near impossible to get that close.

Viceglide, in contrast, he can understand to some degree. Eda does not deal with or trust Cybertronians any more than he has to - and neither, it seems, does Viceglide. They are both odd sizes for the worlds in which they exist, albeit in opposite directions. They both know the allure of zealous scientists and have in their own turns succumbed to it. Eda does not particularly like him, but he might tolerate Viceglide to a higher degree than he does any other Cybertronian, even if Viceglide does not trust him.

Posthaste gives him hope. All newsparks do, no matter how many times that hope has been shattered before. Even at a distance - because I don't imagine his creators would let Eda get too close - he can tell how much Posthaste is loved. He is glad for it, but so too is he envious.

The other members of Phantos, to him, are simply more Cybertronians to deal with. Though he would not make overtures to gain their favor, neither would he reject any attempts at conversation - though as soon as anything remotely resembling you should join the Decepticons slips out, he's leaving.

It's my humble recommendation that you give Bumblebee 2018 a watch. It's leagues better and more watchable than the other live action transformers movies out there, isn't too lore-heavy, requires no background knowledge, and has a banger 80s soundtrack.

The other Transformer movies I’ve watched in theaters and got dragged along to in the past I literally remember nothing about. I love Bumblebee because of his design and him being partially non verbal like myself so I’ll try to watch the movie when I get the chance! I want to draw bumble robot boy as soon as I can!
