Who was dating Indev then? I thought he had a gf in one point of the comics
He was dating a race car driver named Venelop. I believe she also modeled from time to time. I could be misremembering that last part, though.

From making nsfw of Artman being abused and kidnaped back in their Skype rp days to a (thankfully) dropped dating sim where you can still abuse him, what’s up with that? Why do they always abuse Artman, their most meaningful OC to themself? That’s so weird, that’s so….. gross
Good morning/afternoon/evening, Anon!
Rebornica is the type of creator that thinks constant angst and misery in their writing makes a story better. Though it is common knowledge that giving characters obstacles to face does tend to make the plot seem less flat to readers, it never is a guarantee to make someone's writing stand out. Rebornica theirself has admitted to thinking "conflict = better", word for word! This is a quote directly from them.
VENELOP WAS A RACE CAR DRIVER WAIT WHAT. is she. a fucking. Vanellope von Schweets Wreck it Ralph clone????????????? I missed THAT bit of Pilot lore??
I am so fucking stupid. How did I not realize this before. Okay, so, I am unsure if anyone else knows this outside of Rebornica's immediate circle of ex-/friends, but Venelop WAS named after Vanellope von Schweetz, yes. But. Holy shit. I had not connected the dots before this ask. Mod Taizo having a normal one.
Wasn't there a comic involving Pops and Greeze with that spades symbol appearing for some reason?
There was! If possible I'm sure us mods will be able to find it and post it under this ask's response. It isn't too hard to find, fortunately. Unfortunately the comic itself is terribly vague and makes little to no sense.
Oh my god the ass kissing for Taizo in that comic makes me want to throw up. Taizo is just as shitty/shittier than Dracula good lord. It’s just so obnoxious how Bones tried to backtrack on Taizos character and make him this good guy. Taizo is just a a manifestation of bones narcissistic desire to be coddled/have all of their sins absolved bc tHEYrE tRYInG tO dO bEtTer.
Agreed. I mean, Dracula at first had no story other than 'rival to Taizo', as Drac was still being developed by Rebornica. But then it so happens that Dracula suddenly had turned into a character that whined whenever he didn't get his way, spread "rumors" about Taizo, and wouldn't move on from Taizo's past "mistakes" (cough cough mistakes like genocide and rape cough). Obviously, in-universe, whether we like Taizo's series or not, Dracula and Taizo are both villains. So they're both the "bad guys" at some point in their lives. But I would argue that... Taizo is twice if not thrice as bad as Dracula. Even if all of Taizo's past "mistakes" were then later on pinned on Dracula by Rebornica in a shit attempt at making Dracula seem more evil than he actually was/is.
honestly, imo, taizo would've worked better if he was portrayed more as a scary villain rather than someone we're forced to sympathize with and root far. he CAN be terrifying with what's given to him if it were written more competently.
instead we got fascist simping.
As someone who is a big fan of villains in media, yeah. Basically. But Rebornica saw theirself in Taizo, plus their lack of self awareness would have never allowed them to write a good villain if it meant recognizing that they too are a bad person. Ironic considering their "I Am A Supervillain" phase. Which was not to mention embarrassing since it was not done in a tongue-in-cheek way at all.
Looking at Martha now… she would’ve been a better character … if she wasn’t sucking up and babying the very monster that most of those other patients all got trauma from! All of them deserve therapy more than his ass!
And yes he’s a fuckin psychopath! The asshole destroyed a famous mountain in Japan for his fuckin castle, made a harem by brainwashing his victims, married another psychopath, AND started brainwashing his kids, too!!!
I absolutely agree with this. To add onto the ask, I feel like Rebornica gave Martha psychopathy only to make it seem like she was not biased about Taizo. Except it only further highlighted Rebornica's own bias for Taizo, since clearly it is okay for Taizo (and apparently, by extension, Clara) to be war criminals that have comitted multiple counts of genocide. Though, I would call neither Taizo nor Clara characters who have psychopathy as psychopathy is genetic, and most of their behaviors are reactions that stem from their shitty childhoods. Definitely not excusing their BS here, but neither of the two have symptoms that would be akin to psychopathy, since they experience empathy and also seem to experience strong levels of lots of guilt that last way more than a little while.
From all the momwife jokes, I can only assume that Norman's last name is Freud—
This ask went after my throat. (/lh)
