Art Trades for July

Hello everyone! It's been a while, huh? Sorry it's been so quiet on my end-- Just had a lot of traveling and events and everything else going on so I haven't been able to log in as much.

I wanna try easing back into art and the Pokeask scene again, and I know July is ArtFight season, but that feels a little too intimidating for me right now haha. So I'm gonna take a tip from my good friend @kuixotic and do some art trades during July to hopefully get back into the swing of things!

some notes: 1) This will NOT be first come first serve! DM me either here (or preferably on discord) and we will work something out together!

2) These are art trades, so I expect the same level of effort back for what I'm doing for you. So if you want a full-body, fully shaded piece, I would also like to see a full-body full-shaded piece from you as well!

3) Give me some time to work on these, preferably at least a week! I am working again and I do have other commitments, so usually I am relegated to drawing on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. If you would like, I can send you WIPs to show you where I am at!

4) If you are not an artist, I'm still more than happy to trade with you! If writing or crafting is more your forte, we can arrange something with that instead!

5) Do NOT use AI or picrew to make your half of the trade. It's insulting and shows you don't care to match the effort I'm putting in for you. If you have character references that you made on picrew, that's fine. Similarly, do NOT feed my half of the art trade into any AI or use for any NFTs

Coming Back/Blogs to Follow

Howdy everybody! I finally found a space where I'm not super slammed and busy, so i'm gonna try (TRY) to ease my way back into this askblogging thing again. I have a lot of stories yet to tell with Crewel-Intentions and the only way to tell them is to do them, even if they may not look as nice as I want.

I'm going to try to post one post a week on Friday, but if things get busy, it might end up later on the weekend sometimes. I'll try to let you guys know if I have to skip a week because of travel plans.

I'm REALLY out of the game, so could you guys recommend some active blogs for me to follow and interact with? With the way things are planned on my blog, things are kinda locked in on my end until i finish this arc, but I can still send asks!

Small Hiatus

Hello everyone! Sorry I disappeared for a bit during the Magi Retreat-- I was out of the country on a cruise with family. Kinda hard to post when you have no internet for a week haha.

After I got back, I uh, got REALLY sucked into a personal project that kinda consumed my life. If you're interested, you can check that out HERE. It's still kinda in beta, but I'm pretty proud of what I have so far, especially for never trying ANYTHING like this before haha.

I wanna keep working on that for a bit longer and we're gonna be traveling almost constantly until late April/early May, so I think for my own mental health I'm gonna take a break and go on hiatus until we get done with all the traveling.

Sorry for stepping away for so long, but I'm starting to recognize my own limits when it comes to doing things and I really don't wanna push it and majorly burn myself out. Love you guys very much and I'll be back soon <3

Pokeask Magi Retreat!

So I checked and I will be able to sneak in/do the Magi retreat this year! At least for the first half of the month haha :) I'm probably only going to do text-based responses to avoid burning out AND to help practice my writing skills. I hope that's okay!

Small Hiatus

Hey everyone!

There's gonna be a small hiatus while I work on the climax of this arc. It's gonna be rather long so it's gonna take me a while to finish it, so sorry if you don't see anything for a few weeks! But i'll be back before you know it! .w. Look forward to the next update!

Munday + Blog Updates

Howdy everybody! Sorry I've been away for so long. Besides depression and burnout kicking my butt, I've also had my interests lying elsewhere most of the time.

That, and very nearly having this blog be terminated and deleted. Thanks, Tumblr.

I'm starting to learn that I just don't have the energy (social, mental, or otherwise) to run askblogs like I used to, especially since I'm going to be working soon on top of this.

So what am I going to do about this? I'm going to be realistic.

I want to finish my blogs and put them in a place where I can feel satisfied ending them. I have a lot of stories I still want to tell with all of them, but the only way to tell them is to continue them. I definitely don't have the energy to update every day, especially since most answers now are short-form comics.

So I'm going to try to update once a week, every week, on Friday.

I'm going to focus primarily on Crewel-Intentions, but once that gets to a decent place, I might switch to @arc-of-creation or @clydes-tale .

To try to get me back into the groove of askblogging, I think i'm going to join the Magi event. I know I'm in the middle of an important arc on the blog, but I think I just really need something that isn't story-intensive, multiple panel answers. I'll probably do more text-based answers, too, both for the event and for the blog in general. It's just easier on me.

Okay, thanks for listening to my rambling! I'm excited to see and talk to everyone again!

If you want to ask me stuff for Munday, go right ahead! Maybe recommend me some new askblogs to follow because I am VERY out of the loop.

I'd also recommend checking to make sure you're following this blog. I don't know if it getting terminated and coming back from the dead affects anything.

It's okay if you experience attraction very infrequently and this goes for any kind of attraction - it doesn't make you any lesser than anyone else that experiences attraction all or most of the time. You're not "immature" and shouldn't be made to feel that way.
