Brian fought weakly against the swirling tendrils of darkness that clouded his mind and blocked out his view of Rosswood park. "No-No! Get- ugh! G-get offa me! Stop!" He yelled, limbs flailing in the darkness of the forest. With his back up against the cool winter ground, dead leaves and grass crackled under his hoodie as he clawed and pawed at the surrounding air. It seemed to suffocate him. His head was growing fuzzy like his sight, and in place of clear thoughts, blocks of monochrome static mixed in with colors like the shitty multicolored glitter from pre-k crept into the edges of his conscience, screaming in that high-pitched wail that kept him awake at night.
