Ok, small headcanon: Lance knowing how to do long hair in a million different ways because his little sisters wanted him to do their hair, and then Lance doing Keith's and Allaura's for fun. Bonus points if Keith secretly likes his hair being done.

honestly!! that is super cute. i have lots of little cousins and doing their hair is rlly fun. but it’s wayyy harder to do the curly hair girls’ because those curls can get bunched up and knotted. combing is so hARD. I wonder if Allura’s hair is curly? it has lots of volume when u see it in the show, and also curly bits. that long hair… if all of it is curly, pls imagine all the untangling anyone would have to do to be able to work with it. I can picture Lance with a comb and DIY untangling spray, determined as heck to do something with Allura’s huge and pretty hair. Determination, he will tame that hair.
long hair… u can do SO MUCH with it! Like, I bet Lance knows like a ton of intricate braids and that really cool headbands type of braiding. I’m sure Allura would like to have her hair done up like that, the castle’s controls needs both hands and she can’t stop to use one of them to brush her hair away from her face, so braids would be super helpful
hehe, this makes me think of that hair post, where Lance does everyone’s hair and puts Keith’s hair into pigtails. kittycat!keith, finds it soothing to get hair petted and done up. Lance rlly likes how he can get Keith to stop yelling and be actually calm for once. Plus, hair to do things with, it’s like a stim.
silly stuff but I bet the first few times, Lance does Keith’s hair in tiny braids that stick up from the top of his head, or pulls all his hair to the front of his face in a backwards ponytail. dumb stuff like that. then he gets more into doing Keith’s hair and kinda takes it more seriously. like pulling Keith’s bangs out of his face because seriously, how does he see through them in the helmets????? Bobby pins: aliens may not have them but Lance is gonna Figure It Out

There is quite a good possibility that Lance's birthday will be on the same day as mine and I don't wanna hope too much but who am I kidding I already am like he's my favorite character and I'd be happy forever!! (with my luck I'm sure it'll be a day after tho haha )

just checked the source and it’s also tagged for klance and hance. I think the artist just wanted people who like any sort of Lance ship to find the art? It’s purposefully left ambiguous who Lance is texting. (I don’t like sh@nce but I do love hance and klance and the art itself is lovely. so I’ll be keeping that post up.
