per my friend’s suggestion, I decided to share this:P it’s nothing in depth, just some Lance Positivity I guess but: the finger counting thing Lance did when confronting Keith about his insecurities has been bothering me all day if only bc I’ve never seen someone count that way with their hands? ha, and it might just be a Thing Lance does but I thought about something I learned as a kid and it really stuck with me this morning so this old prayer formula I had when I was young suggested using your fingers to help you do a simple prayer where your thumb represented people closest to you, the forefinger was leaders/teachers and such, the middle finger was helpers/healers, the ring finger was world issues I think, and the pinkie finger represented you bc you should put others’ needs before yourself. when Lance used his pinky to represent himself as the remaining paladin, it just struck me as important since this was a growing moment for him, putting the needs of the masses before himself and knowing that this war was bigger than any individual wants. i’m just really proud of my boy:)
