LOVE MONTH OVERVIEW

The universe has been very, very good to me. Opportunities are coming my way at breakneck speed and in some ways, I still can't believe that my dreams are now becoming a reality. It's all because of Him, I can't thank Him enough :)

With the stylist (who instantly turned hairstylist that day) Sir Domz Ramos, the designer of the oriental collection (a.k.a. "Japan Japan" hahaha) Sir Vince Sityar and Sir Dave Ocampo who also showcased his collection.

OCT-OVER RECAP

Stepping out of my comfort zone last month to start working on my dreams was a surreal experience. I don't have words to express my feelings, it was strange, nonetheless, to be in front of many people. The bright lights and the continuous camera shutter sound while walking down the runway was really nerve-racking but it was the best, magical nerve-racking moment of my life so far.

Likha Teen Edition: A Walk for Life at Amoranto Theater. Hosted the event plus modeled for Matrix Philippines and Sir Alfie Guiday. Special thanks to Sir Niño Ramirez who designed the beautiful peplum dress I'm wearing that night.

So yeah, that's how I spent my October!!! It is like a breath of fresh air. And once again, I was just reminded of how blessed I am. Lord, thank you! ♥

Mode Elle Model & Int'l Supermodel Liisa Winkler Lands Exclusive Balenciaga Campaign!

Mode Elle Model & International Supermodel Liisa Winkler landed an exclusive in the spring with the renowned fashion house, Balenciaga, and was also the muse for Balenciaga’s fall collection!

Look for Liisa in fall 2011 fashion magazines appearing in the campaign for Balenciaga which was shot with famed photographer Steven Meisel!

Liisa will also be appearing soon in an editorial for both Elle Canada & Quebec Elle which was shot last week in Montreal! Liisa was booked for this editorial by Liisa’s exclusive Canadian Agent, Audra Anderson of Mode Elle.

Liisa was discovered at the age of 15 by Mode Elle Owner/Agent Audra Anderson while she was back-to-school shopping with her mother & best friend. Although hesitant at first, Liisa was encouraged to enter Mode Elle’s Model Search where she placed as a finalist, but did not win. The following year, Liisa attended the Canadian Model & Talent Convention and the rest is history!

Liisa’s modelling career has taken her to locations such as Cape Town, Sydney, Bali, Paris, Milan & London to just name a few and has graced the runways & appeared in campaigns for other celebrated fashion houses such as Gucci, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Donna Karan, Versace, Armani, BCBG, MaxMara & Valentino! Liisa is also a mainstay in fashion magazines such as Vogue, Elle, Marie Claire, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, Fashion & Flare!
