My Summary: A beautifully crafted casefic, where Sherlock slowly realizes that he is beautiful. John, of course, helps magnificently. This fic is one of my go-tos, I’ve read it upwards of fifteen times. The slow, sweet and soft exploration of their relationship and firsts is everything.

My Summary: This is like kind of a casefic but not really, as it is very focused on Sherlock and his emotions surrounding the situation. I absolutely love the trope, I love the cleverness of the case, Johns reactions and encouragement and the absolutely heart warming first time. I reread this often. I remember this fic seeming a little OoC when I read it the first time, but really, the fragile side of Sherlock isn’t really explored that much on the show, so it’s reasonable that it’s open to interpretation.
