Saturday Movie Night: The Model World Of Robert Symes (1979)
In the past, I've shared a fair number of programmes hosted or narrated by the late great Bob Symes. This is another one of them - exploring his fascination with models of all shapes and sizes. With the help of some of his fellow modellers, Symes puts forward the case for modelmaking providing a path to far greater opportunities than simple enjoyment or nostalgia.

Just messing about on the river...
2023 is just a few days away.
This year I made a total of 9 boats. Hope to do more different model boats in 2023.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Years everyone
I've started building a model of the HMS Victory recently. So far it's been going surprisingly well.
HMS Victory is definitely one of my favourite age of sail ships. She has been in service with the royal navy for 246 years. Her most notable battle is certainly the battle of trafalgar where she was Vice Admiral Nelson flagship. Today she is the flagship of the first sea lord and is a museum ship open to the public.
