Sorry for taking a while to post an update on gunpla! I was busy having a birthday party (twice), working at the bakery, and various other life stuff that i won't go into further detail!

I got a lot of progress in terms of Flauros, enough progress, in fact, that i completed it, including the extra parts from the Tekkadan Complete Set! (For Gundam Flauros, that is) (Curse the tumblr image limit!)

I FINALLY GOT STARTED ON THE METALGREYMON KIT!

I'm going to show you the progress, because this is going to be a build that's gonna take a while. From the sheer amount of runners, from A1 to I2, to the chunky size of the head alone - which was pretty fun to build thus far - I have no doubt that this is gonna be a BIG BOY!

Now to panel line this fella. Panel lining done!

Gunpla help!

This has been bugging me for ages now: What do I do with the leftover runners? Do they belong in the recycling bin, or in the regular trash?

I just got into Gunpla this week. I built my first one, the RX-78-2 Gundam, on Wednesday and Char Aznable’s Zaku last night. The Zaku is still a work in progress, as I have yet to put together its weapons and apply all the little decals to its armor.

Overall, these two were really easy. They’re “High Grade”, which are the 1/144 scale with the least amount of detail compared to the larger models. BUT, I’m absolutely amazed at how many joints they have!! They’re super poseable and can stand on their own with no supports very easily (those big feet certainly help with that! 😆). Also, there’s no need for glue or screwdrivers—everything snaps into place. The only negative I can think of is that the pieces are TINY. You need the hands of a surgeon to get those decal stickers lined up just right. Also, the instructions are in Japanese, but the assembly diagrams are intuitive and easy to understand.

This hobby is definitely a keeper. I used to do stuff like this as a kid, but with things like the space shuttle. I miss doing that. It’s very therapeutic.

Shin Koshin Gyan (SD) Custom - ＣＯＬＤ  ＦＲＯＮＴ / 寒冷前線 I started this kit for the 24 Hour Live stream for the GBA. The kit was nothing more than just a practice kit to get in the swing of things with airbrushing and hand painting. One night before the Gunpla Meetup we have I decided to make a little diorama. I will go more into the technical aspects of this kit in a video but I took half of a high grade action base to make a little mini snow diorama. We have a group judge build for my local shop contest, so getting some snow weathering practice was needed. Also this page has just hit 1k followers.
