~ the SJ repartee on how 5x20 All the Best LE1 is roughly the size of Tokyo Station souvenirs

~ that gap-san for SJ is smaller than Jun and Masaki

~ Jun ‘reprising’ his comedy leader role for a bit

~ Sho cracking up almost straightaway when J does the above and then teasing that his pitch has climbed so high

~ Masaki pulling a tsukkomi on J by suggesting our youngest has a new monomane to present

~ Riida he’s-dying-of-laughter, mock pouting and all squishable when asked for his opinion and intro

~ Neens sharing on memory of rushing between Stand Up drama set and filming for CDTV music segment

~ Arashi recalling the ‘chorori’ / ‘porori’ running joke on Utaban

~ Neens and the R18 hair at the start of Beautiful Days

~ the entirety of the performance (and all TV musical performances in 2019 really) that their live (beautiful) voices are clearly heard, especially our Ojichan’s~~

This

is really not the way I do things. 

Typically.

But allow me this exception because I keep going back to this moment throughout the day and it practically feels like salvation for me amidst the tiny panic attacks I’ve been having these last few days of 2017.

Pon aired Sho unbuckling his belt on camera for the umpteenth time.

We start with the usual ‘birthday gift this year was underwear from Aiba, and I’m currently wearing it’ story. Just your normal Arashi-kinship Tuesday. Seems a bit hard for Daesung to believe his eyes/ears, though.

Ohno’s (ex?-)favourite geinin was kind enough to ask this question for us viewers. 

And Sho (god bless him!) was kinder.

Nino was really quick when it comes to being on the receiving end of Sho’s ‘kindness’. On the other hand, Okada-MC wasn’t prepared for this.

The geinin hesitates for fear of provoking an outcry on the Net. But Matsumoto ‘Warm Kindness’ Jun doesn’t mind sharing.

Aiba is also kind. And Nino’s scored front row seats to the show. You know, early bird and all.

Caution: Jun’s casual hand on Aiba’s shoulder as he leans in to enjoy the view courtesy of his bandmates. In addition, underwear-appraiser Ohno makes an appearance. Btw, Aoki-ana is all of us. We are all Aoki-ana.

And to top it off, we have Sakuraiba rebuckling their belts from this angle. 

Long live Arashi.

└ Opening starts off rockily, with sakumiya bullies...

Sho: Won’t they know [it’s your clothes] from the ‘Ai-ba Ma-sa-ki’ written on the inner pocket?

Kazu: *gestures that it could possibly be found written on the inner collar too*

Masaki: I’m not a kindergarten kid afterall~

... ohmiya’s similar (dis)affinity with clothes...

Satoshi (to Kazu): You have no interest in clothes right?

Kazu: None.

Satoshi (to AMS): We’re probably the ‘lacking (interest)’ team...

... and Yama pair ‘tsukkomi’ before ohmiya comes to the rescue. 

Sho: But I don’t really chase after fashion trends either.

Satoshi: True~

Satoshi (pointing at Sho): When [your fashion sense] was bad, it was REALLY bad.

*Kazu smacks pulls smiling ji-chan to safety*

Sho (laughingly): Oi~!

*Kazu bodily pulling still-smiling Sho-braincell-killer ji-chan to further safety*

I get to enjoy sakumoto OTP...

... even as tennen pair further liven up the outcome of Pinball Runner.

Satoshi (out of breath): You shouldn’t have called [those falling at] ‘3′!

Masaki: From 3 to 8 right?  That was the promise we made.

Satoshi: Eh~ You’re lying!

Ji-chan~ you can’t blame Masaki for the fail, not when we have video evidence~ (^_^) 

[Satoshi video replay]: Then 3 and 8 [zones] it is.

Satoshi (playfully whiny tone): But calling for 3 was too much.  It was impossible [to reach]!

Then our youngest pair show off the ‘illusion’ of their own making before attempting Cliff Climb...

... and while Jun worries about his body getting broken...

... Sho-mama worries about his possession Jun’s body how our two will start Cliff Climb after all that fooling around.

There’s crybaby pair with Masaki showing our youngest that he’ll always remember Domyouji-sama.

... and ohmiya show how their two minds are really one.

And yama pair resumes its feel-good feel at the serendipitous Osaka festival meeting...

... though I really need that HnA yukata-clad retelling with MISIA’s Everything BGM.
