I had a shoot tomorrow, but I decided to cancel it. It was a ad on craigslist. The guy seemed ok, but he offered so little info it was really uncomfortable. I offered different styles of outfits I could wear and he asked what “boho” meant. Sounds dumb, but it was kind of a red flag for me. A photographer wanting young models but didn’t know youth culture. We were going to go to the Plaza, then Redwood Park. Public, but I know I didn’t want to hop in his car to get to the park. Without Derek, I don’t feel completely comfortable going to shoots by myself.
If I knew the photographer better or if they were closer to my age, it would be fine. I still have a shoot with an old school mate to schedule. I also want to do shoots of my own. I want to figure out lighting before i start asking people. Be on the lookout, gang.
