We are thrilled to share that the DANUBIUS Modelling Node workshop took place virtually on October 29th, from 13:00 to 17:00 CET, during the Delft Software Days. The event attracted 99 registered participants and 50 online attendees.
Participants joined us from around the globe, including the Netherlands, Italy, Norway, UK, US, India, Sri Lanka, Germany, Turkey, Malta, South Africa, Ireland, Austria, Romania, Ecuador, Mexico, Canada, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denmark, Bangladesh, Mozambique, Portugal, Spain, France, Bulgaria, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
The workshop sparked fruitful discussions and set the stage for spreading our ecological modelling questionnaire. This initiative aims to update the state of the art in modelling tools and studies, and gather broad feedback on relevant gaps and new forefront studies.
We hope this is just the beginning of expanding the DANUBIUS modelling community. A heartfelt thank you to all participants β the research community is the essential backbone of the DANUBIUS Modelling Node.
Letβs continue to collaborate and innovate! π
