“Will you come to my wedding?” you said suddenly from beside Obi-Wan.
He froze. Moments before, the two of you were laying in a comfortable silence next to each other in a park. You had wanted to go out to star gaze, saying that no one was able to. Whether it was work or they just didn’t want to, that left Obi-Wan as a last resort.
It had slightly stung when he heard he was the last person you asked, but it didn’t matter. He couldn’t let his inane crush for you get in the way of your friendship. The two of you had known each other ever since you were children.
Oh how many times he’s wanted to tell you how much he cared for you. The amount of times where he looked into your eyes and wanted to kiss you.
Now, his heart slightly dropped at your question. Were you in a relationship you hadn’t told him about? Why didn’t you tell him if that were the case?
Obi-Wan’s mind raced as he realized the silence from him dragged on too long.
Clearing his throat and slightly shaking his head to rid him of his thoughts, he finally responded, “A-are you getting… married?”
Despite his best efforts to not sound like he was disappointed in the news, it didn’t work. His voice sounded just as crestfallen as he felt. Thank goodness you couldn’t fully see his face because he was sure that his expression mirrored everything else.
“I mean,” he said quickly, trying to recover while sitting up to see you properly, “whoever it’s to is lucky to have you, but I wasn’t aware you were… involved with anyone.”
You moved to mirror his position, your knees lightly grazing his.
“I- at least just tell me it isn’t that Quinlan character,” Obi-Wan stammered out once again before you could speak. “I’ve seen how he’s been flirting with you and I-” he cut himself off, looking at the ground before continuing, “I just have a bad… feeling. About him.”
“You seem awfully observant with my love life,” you said teasingly, nudging his knee with yours.
Obi-Wan smiled sheepishly. “I- I just don’t want you to end up with the wrong person.” He said this more to himself rather than to you. What he wanted so desperately was to be the one who got the honour of calling you his. Better yet, you calling him yours. It would never happen, though. The two of you were just… friends.
That thought stung. He knew that one day you would most likely find someone you loved that wasn’t him. In fact, he had always thought that it wouldn’t be him.
“Are you alright?” you asked, genuine concern laced in your tone. It caused Obi-Wan to look at you, forcing a crooked smirk onto his face.
“Quite.”
“I don’t believe you. Was this not a good night to invite you out?”
“What? No. Of course this was a good night. The question just sort of…”
Sort of what? Stabbed you in the heart and twisted the knife right as you were enjoying yourself? Obi-Wan thought to himself.
Earlier, the two of you had been talking away as you walked through the park, waiting for the sun to fully disappear from the night sky. The two of you may have talked often, but that didn’t stop your ability to carry conversations.
As the sun was setting, he had discreetly indulged himself with looking at you in that light. The bright yellows and pinks making you glow, only to be changed in the most amazing way as dark blues and purples took their places.
“It sort of took me by… surprise… is all,” he finally finished.
Amusement glinted in your eyes. “Well, to start off, it’s not Quinlan Vos, thank you.”
Obi-Wan hated to admit it, but that really did fill him with relief. He felt almost as if the man had no intention other than getting you in bed. That wouldn’t fly with Obi-Wan. For many reasons other than how much he cared about you.
“That’s a relief,” Obi-Wan mumbled as he rolled his eyes. Even though he had intended for you to not hear it properly, you did. Your laugh filled the practically silent air.
“You’re telling me.”
For a moment, he stayed silent as he thought about it. Of everyone he knows, Quinlan was the only one that seemed to have gotten your attention to an extent. It must have been someone you hadn’t told him about.
“Then who is it? And why haven’t I heard about them?”
“Well, no one… yet.”
“Why ask me if I would come to your wedding if you aren’t…” Obi-Wan trailed off, looking away as he not only got lost in thought, but the overwhelming sense of temporary relief.
“Well,” you started, pausing a few seconds before continuing and gaining back his attention, “I’m not right now. Just… not for a couple of years, give or take.”
Obi-Wan couldn’t help but feel dispirited. This most likely meant that you were going back into the dating game. And, if he learnt from the last few times you dated someone, it would absolutely kill him.
With your last relationship, Obi-Wan was… guarded around your partner. It had gotten to a point where he was so uptight with the other that you had to talk to Obi-Wan about it. The whole situation was embarrassing, but he couldn’t help it. Seeing you with someone was just unbearable and he had to stand by and help you through the crumbling relationship.
The night you and your partner broke up, you had trekked to his apartment through the rain.
You had a car. Why you hadn’t used it, he would never know. What he did know was, as he opened the door, he was greeted by your drenched state. It nearly hid the tears that streamed down your cheeks.
When Obi-Wan asked what happened (and he really had to pretend like he didn’t know what it was about) you flung yourself at him, hugging him tight. He had carefully guided you further inside, closing the door as you cried into his shoulder. Wrapping his own arms around you, he whispered comforting words until your breathing had evened out.
That night, you had told him everything that had happened only hours prior.
“How did you know?” were your words after hours of him listening to you. “How did you know they weren’t the one?”
At the time, he had no option but to lie. Confessing how he felt about you right after a breakup was sure to be enough for you to never talk to him again. So, he shrugged and lied, saying that he just didn’t like them.
“Oh,” is all Obi-Wan could say. He didn’t know what it was, but he felt like he was beginning to have trouble breathing. Even if he tried to speak, he was sure no words would come out.
As this conversation went on, he felt more and more inclined to leave, but he could never do that to you. You meant too much to him and that was not the way he wanted to leave. If he got up and left now, that would be worse than destroying his friendship with you by telling you how he feels.
“Obi, what is it? It’s not like it’s happening now. It’ll be years from now,” you said, trying to cheer him up as you nudged his knee again.
“How do you know you’ll want me there?” he suddenly blurted, sounding more miffed than intended. Well, ideally he didn’t want to sound like that at all.
It was your shocked expression that made him realize the extent of his tone. You seemed hurt and he hated that he was the cause of it.
“I mean,” he began again, backtracking from his sudden frustration. “What if- How do you know we’ll even still be friends by then?” His tone was quiet, hiding how he actually felt.
“Alright, starting off, I really doubt that you’re alright because ouch. What do you mean? Do you think we won’t be friends in two years after all of this time?”
Obi-Wan couldn’t help but feel embarrassed. Of course he still saw the two of you still being friends in the next two years. Hell, he could see himself as your friend for the rest of his life. Even though it would kill him to only be your friend, he couldn’t imagine a life without you.
“I- well, you never know what can happen in that time,” he said unconvincingly.
At this point, he was desperately dancing around telling you how he felt. With each word you spoke he wanted to say it so badly so that he could keep himself from seeing you hurt again. Or, worse yet, see you happy with someone other than him.
When he looked at you he could’ve sworn he saw tears in your eyes.
“Is it your wish to not be friends anymore?” you said, your voice strained.
Oh, now he’s done it.
“What? No, of course it isn’t. I just… ugh, how do I put this? I- I don’t want to see you get hurt again. But strangely enough, I don’t want to see-”
Obi-Wan cut himself off. No, now was not the time to say this. Was it? There were so many questions running through his mind. Both of his and yours. What was he doing? He had no say in your life and what you could and couldn’t do.
“Never mind,” he muttered.
“So, what you're saying is that you don’t want to be friends when I get married?”
Obi-Wan froze at the question. His mind began to race to find a proper response so that it wouldn’t sound like that. Of course he still wanted to be your friend.
“Good,” you said, now making Obi-Wan freeze for a whole different reason.
It felt as if he couldn’t breathe. Every bit of him tensed. Did you no longer want to be friends with him? The tense silence was suffocating him as he saw that you had more to say. Confusion only filled him when you smiled.
“Because I don’t want to be friends when that day comes.”
All air seemed to leave his body. If he were breathing, surely he was hyperventilating. He only knew that he felt dizzy. He was sure that he could pass out at any second as the mantra of this can’t be happening, I can’t lose you ran through his mind.
“Wha-” he tried, but you cut him off by placing your gentle hand on top of his that he now realized was grasping the fabric of his slacks. Your soft touch made his hand ease its grip. Slowly, you managed to turn it so his palm rested against your own.
“It’s a good thing because,” you started and paused, making sure his eyes met yours, “because I don’t see you as my friend at my wedding. I would see you as my fiancé, my soon to be husband on that day.”
Obi-Wan’s jaw dropped. Surely this was a dream. This couldn’t be actually happening, could it? Were you actually saying what he thought you were?
“Are… is this real?” he said, causing you to chuckle.
“Yes, Obi. This is real.”
As if to prove this, you moved so that your knees now rested on top of his, moving your joined hands to rest between the two of you.
With his trembling free hand, he brought it to cup your cheek.
“This isn’t really happening. There’s no way you actually feel the same way about me as I do you,” he said with a shaky voice as you leaned into his touch.
Turning your head ever so slightly, you pressed a kiss to his palm. He could feel his heart flutter at the action.
“It’s really real, Obi,” you whispered.
Obi-Wan chuckled in relief as he let himself relax. Your smile only worked to enhance it. So much so that he hardly noticed that he was leaning towards you. Although it seemed like you were as well, he paused when the two of you were mere inches apart from each other.
“Is… is this alright?” he asked, searching your eyes.
You chuckled. “Obi-Wan, this would have been alright ever since the ninth grade,” you whispered.
That was all the confirmation he needed. The last of the distance was closed, his lips finally pressed against yours. Was this what he was missing this whole time?
The longer this went on, the more you seemed to move closer to him.
“I love you,” Obi-Wan whispered after you pulled away, resting your forehead to his.
“I know,” you whispered back. For a few moments longer, the two of you just looked at each other, smiling in the moment. To think he had almost missed out on all of this. “I love you too,” you say after, then kissing him again.
This time, he knew for sure that you were moving closer. You were now straddling his lap, the hand you had been holding now resting on your thigh. His hand that was cupping your cheek has moved to your waist as your own hands now made their way to his hair. Every little sensation was spectacular as he gently tugged his hair.
“Darling,” he said in between kissing you. You only hummed in response. Your slight rocking on his lap was making it really hard to concentrate. “I… think we may… need to… to stop.”
When you pulled away, confusion was written all over your features. “Is everything alright?”
“Well, yes… there’s just a… how do I put this? There’s a growing need,” he said, gesturing downwards with his head.
Your eyes grew as you realized what he was saying. A hint of mischievousness glinted in your eyes as you pressed down against his length. “What if,” you began, your hand that was once resting on top of his now trailing to rest on his hip, “we didn’t stop. If it’s alright.”
A shiver went down Obi-Wan’s spine at your words. He couldn’t deny the fact that he wanted to continue, but the two of you were still in a very public place.
“At least,” he said before kissing you, “not here.” He slotted his lips back with yours as his hands both trailed to your back, pulling you flush against him. “My apartment?”
“Yes,” you said in a breath, not wanting to part from his lips.
It took a minute for the two of you to be willing to separate, but you eventually did.
Between the two of you, Obi-Wan lived the closest to this park. It didn’t take long to get there. Not only was it because this was a few minute walk, but because your paces were picked up. The two of you had waited too long for this moment to happen.
The amount of time he’s waited to even kiss you was dizzying enough. Now, the two of you were about to do something he never thought would ever happen. Ever.
As soon as Obi-Wan closed the door behind him, he had hardly any time to turn around before your lips were back on his. In one shift motion, he bent down, bringing his hands behind your knees, and lifted you up. Your legs immediately wrapped around him as you giggled against his lips.
It wasn’t long before he brought you into his room, kicking the door shut and pinning you against it. Surprisingly, that was the first time he deepened the kiss. Your little gasp helped open the opportunity for him to slip his tongue into your mouth.
Though he was enjoying this, he wanted to explore more. So, he moved from your mouth, trailing down to your jaw, then kissing every exposed area of your neck. He made mental notes every time you gasped when he kissed certain spots.
“Obi,” you practically whined, tugging at his shirt and untucking it.
He pulled away from the attention he was giving your neck to look at you. “What is it, darling?”
You began to undo the buttons that were now accessible since he pulled away just enough.
“Off,” you say, tugging his shirt up even more so that all buttons were now easy to get to.
Obi-Wan chuckled, kissing you again as the shirt now hung loose. Being just as desperate as you, he easily tugged the rest of it off, throwing the shirt somewhere in the room.
The feeling of your hands going straight to his chest made goosebumps form across the skin on his arms. As they trailed up to his shoulders, the feeling only grew as chills ran down his spine. That wasn’t the only feeling that was growing, though…
He couldn’t take it any longer. Wrapping his arms around your back, he walked away from the door to bring you to his bed.
After gently laying you down, his hands went to your hips. They pushed upwards which brought your shirt with it. You easily accommodated him when it came to helping him remove it.
“Please,” you said to him as he began to kiss every inch of your exposed skin. He looked up at you, head tilted to the side as he waited for what you had to say. “Can we save the slow stuff for another day? We’ve waited too long for this.”
Obi-Wan wanted to protest but he couldn’t. The more this went on, the less composure he found he had. Plus, how could he argue with you? He would move a mountain for you if you asked.
“Alright,” he said softly. Now, there was nothing slow or sensual about how the two of you took off the rest of the others’ clothing. It was a desperate shedding as if the moment would cease to exist if you didn’t.
“I love you,” you whispered as your skin pressed against his.
“And I love you,” he said back, moving between your legs, seeing the effect he had on you.
Obi-Wan made a small sound before leaning down, kissing along your thighs but never touching your core. He loved the small whines you made each time he redirected his attention. It caused your hands to shoot to his hair, trying your best to push him where you needed him the most.
It wasn’t until pleaded with him, pushing his head down, that he gave in. He finally let his tongue run through your folds and the sound that came from you could not be any more delightful. Now losing the rest of his resolve to tease, he dove in.
Every single moan he caused you delighted Obi-Wan to no end. When he added a finger and then another, they only grew in frequency. He took small looks up at you, seeing how your face contorted with pleasure.
It wasn’t until you were pleading with him to keep his fingers at a certain angle that he once again dipped down and indulged himself without looking up again.
“Obi, I-I’m going to-”
“Come for me, my darling girl,” he encouraged. It wasn’t much longer until your fingers quite literally clenched his hair as you hit your high. Obi-Wan, despite slightly grimacing at the feeling, loved it. It didn’t deter him from continuing his movements until you began massaging his scalp.
“‘M sorry,” you muttered as he brought himself to hang over you.
Bringing one of your hands to his lips, he kissed each of your knuckles, his eyes never leaving yours. “It’s alright,” he comforted. “I liked it. You did so well, darling.”
Before he knew it, you were pulling him down to kiss him. He made a small sound of surprise but quickly melted into your lips.
Now lining up at your entrance, he looked into your eyes, silently asking if it was alright.
“Please, Obi-Wan. Don’t drag this out longer than it has to be.”
Just like that, Obi-Wan couldn’t say no. So, he pushed into your wet warmth, the feeling making him shudder with pleasure. He carefully inched his way further into you. Each sound of pleasure he heard from you was like music to his ears. He never thought he could hear sweeter sounds from you.
When he bottomed out, he wanted to just stay there. This feeling was amazing. Sure, it wasn’t his first time having sex, but it had been so long that he forgot what it was like. With you, though, it was greater than anything he had experienced.
“Obi,” you say, slightly annoyed as your patience was running low.
“I’m sorry, dearest,” he replied, knowing what you were about to say. With that, he began to move. His own moans mixed with yours as your hands gripped his biceps.
Everything almost seemed like a blur, but at the same time felt like it was going on for hours in the best way. He dipped down to kiss you as he could feel himself growing closer to his climax with each thrust.
He was about to tell you before you told him to keep his angle, that you were growing close yourself.
Your moans only grew in frequency and volume as he took your direction. To help you achieve your high, he moved his hand so that he was rubbing circles around your clit with his thumb.
“My darling girl, you’re doing an amazing job,” he praised as your hands moved to clench at his back.
Your hips bucked up into him at the contact causing a groan from him at the sudden movement. As it went on, you buried your face in the crook of his neck.
“I-I’m s-s-so close, Obi. Please, don’t stop,” you managed to mutter into his shoulder.
“Let it go. I’m right behind you,” he grunted out as he picked up his pace just a little more.
It wasn’t long until he felt your walls clenching down on him as you called out his name. He helped you through it, only slowing his pace until your high came down.
“Come inside me, Obi,” you said once his hips began to stutter.
“Are- are you sure?”
You nodded before pulling him down to kiss him. With that, he didn’t last much longer. Soon he was making small thrusts as he let his seed spill out into you. His head was buried in your shoulder as he made small pleasurable grunts and moans that were a mixture of your name and incoherent sounds.
Your fingers stroked his hair as he kept thrusting until the sensations were too much. You didn’t stop as you let him stay like this as he softened inside of you.
“That was-”
“Spectacular,” you finished his sentence.
Obi-Wan nodded before finally pulling out.
“Shower?” you asked, drawing his face up so that he would look at you. Although he was utterly exhausted from all of this, he nodded.
Little did Obi-Wan know was that this was only the first night of the rest of his life with you. Would he ever say he would change any of it? Not in a million years or a different galaxy.
A/N: I’m sorry, but I wanted a reason to use physics in a fic and I finally thought of one. So, enjoy a free physics lesson I guess😅

“So, imagine a coin is sitting on a disk as it spins,” you say as you turn away from your students to draw the diagram on the board. “If this disk were frictionless, the coin would end up flying off in one direction.”
As you turn back to the class, you see them nodding, some watching intensely while others write in their notes.
“Now, this is because circular motion is not what an object will do naturally. The velocity is a vector and wants to travel in one direction. However, when it’s spinning, the velocity is constantly changing. This isn’t because the speed itself is changing, but rather the direction. The speed can remain constant, but that is not the velocity. If you state the velocity, you have to include the direction.”
For a few moments, you wait for them to finish there notes. You waited to see if anyone had a question. When they didn’t, you continued.
“Some of you may be asking, how would we get the coin to stay in place? Well, here’s how.”
Just as you turn back to the board, you see someone come into the doorway. You assumed it was either the principal or one of your colleagues. So, you turned back to finish the lesson.
“So, as we discussed earlier, we have the centripetal force that is always directed towards the center of the circle. You would think that, since the acceleration is towards the middle, the force keeping the coin on the disk would point opposite of the acceleration. That is actually not true.”
You smiled as you saw a few confused looks as took a small glance to your students. Some that weren’t so interested before were now paying attention. You had to keep yourself from chuckling as you saw them try to work it out in their minds.
“The friction force is actually pointing in the same direction as the acceleration.” You turned back towards the class. “Can anyone tell me why?”
As you waited to let them think, you remembered that you had a visitor. Now that you looked, you saw that it wasn’t anyone you were expecting. In fact, it was the last person you expected to see. Well, at least while you were at work.
Obi-Wan gave you a small smirk as your eyes met his. You could see a few of your students noticed he was there too. Their confused glances travelled between the few as they tried to figure out who this stranger was.
Your attention, however, was taken away as you saw a hesitant hand raise.
“What do you think, Paige?”
“Is it because the velocity vectors at any point all go in a direction that leads outwards of the circle?”
A smile spread your lips. “Correct. Since the coin isn’t moving, that means it has to be in equilibrium. The normal force and force of gravity already cancel out, so we don’t have to worry about that. The only forces we’re worried about are the horizontal. So, the force of friction is there to cancel out the x-value of the velocity here,” you say as you highlight the areas of the diagram on the whiteboard.
As you turn back and look at the clock, you notice the time. The bell is about to ring.
“Alright. That’s all for today. Tomorrow we’ll go over the formulas and how to calculate centripetal forces.”
With that, all of your students begin to pack up. You hear the odd conversation about what they’re going to do during lunch. For now, though, your focused on the man who is now moving out of your doorway and towards you as you erase the board.
Obi-Wan folds his arms and leans against the board beside you. “That was an interesting lecture.”
“That’s coming from the history prof,” you tease, causing a wide smile from him. “Couldn’t wait another few minutes for the lunch break, could you?”
“Hm, sometimes I can’t be that patient.”
You raise an eyebrow at him before one of your students catches your attention. It’s Paige, holding her notes by the looks of it.
“I just had a question about the acceleration,” she states before noticing who you were talking to. A wide grin crosses her face. “Oh, hi Dr. Kenobi!”
“Why hello, Paige. Your sister mentioned you were in this class. Don’t let me interrupt your learning, though,” he said, gesturing a hand towards you.
With that, she pointed out her slight confusion on one of your points. You had just finished explaining when the bell rang. There was no hesitation from any of the grade 12s you taught as they all filed out of the room.
“Say hi to your sister for me,” Obi-Wan said to Paige before she walked out.
“I will! Nice seeing you, Dr. Kenobi!” she replied before leaving and closing the door behind her.
With that, you and Obi-Wan were alone in your classroom. Although you enjoyed his company, you weren’t sure why he was here. You knew he usually had time in between his lectures, but he usually didn’t leave the campus. There were always students asking him questions. Did something happen?
“So,” you say as you move to your desk. You needed to get some stuff prepared for your next class. “What brings my wonderful boyfriend all the way over here when I thought he was supposed to be working?”
You couldn’t help but tease a little bit. The smirk it gained made it all worth it.
“Well, he may have cancelled his last lecture so that maybe, after their last class is done, my wonderful partner would like to have a little one-on-one time with him,” he said as he stepped close enough that his chest just barely grazed your arm.
Stopping what you were doing, you straightened up and turned to face him. There was no hesitation from him as he brought his hands to your hips, pulling you against him.
“Obi-Wan,” you said as a small warning, “we’re in a high school. One of my students could walk in.”
He considered what you said for a moment. That is, until a smug grin crossed his lips.
“Well, with the way they all seemed to fly out, I think we’re safe,” he said as he leaned in closer.
You shook your head with a chuckle. “Insufferable man,” you teased.
“But you love it.”
Before you could reply, his lips practically crashed against yours. And, although you were in a public space and you were technically still working, you gave into it. Your hands went into his hair, letting that and the feeling of his lips on yours melt the stress of the day. Now, all you thought about was how your last class couldn’t end any sooner.

Hello everyone👋🏻😁 and welcome to my revamped masterlist!
First off, the tag list. I do have this link right -> here
But if you'd rather, please feel free to either leave a comment or message me. Any requests or questions are also always welcomed😊
Secondly, I'll link any key updates on here as well. I'll have an update board just before each of the stories are linked.
Lastly, I'll have brief (and terrible) summaries of each of the series now. I also want to add that any warnings will be said in the beginning of each chapter/one shot. And, although I do write the reader as a female, there are some that could actually be perceived as gender neutral. I am also looking to write some gender neutral one shots in the future.
With all of that being said, enjoy the chaotic update/posting schedule I live by😂
I love you all and the continuous support you shower me with😊

Summary: You and Ben take your kids to the pumpkin patch but not before a little family play time.

- - -
Hushed giggles sounded from your room as you walked down the hall. Suspicion krept up in you as you were not even met with your usual fluffy greeting by the two dogs. You heard a small hush before everything went silent.
With a smile, you made your way over to the slightly opened door. Slowly, you pushed it open.
“Boo!” two little voices called out as they jumped out, both wearing their own scary masks. Boga and Cody came running up to you in their own little surprise attack.
“Oh goodness! Whoever is going to save me from the monsters!” you called out, acting frightened.
The two children giggled and pushed up their masks.
“Look mommy!” Casaria, your youngest called out.
“It’s just us,” your eldest, Aldoken, finished.
The two of them came up to you to give you a hug as you crouched down. “Thank goodness. I was really scared there.”
Casaria giggled. “I think there’s one more, mommy,” she said as she pointed over your shoulder.
“And this one is the scariest of all,” you heard your husband say from behind you. You hardly had the chance to turn around before Ben, in his own monster mask, started tickling you.
Somewhere in the background through your laughing you heard, “Oh no! The tickle monster!” It was soon followed by squeals as Ben turned his attention to the children.
“You better run,” you managed to say as Ben’s hands only just left your ticklish spots. “Otherwise the tickle monster will get you too!”
In all of the excitement, Cody and Boga were barking at the ‘stranger’ that was tickling you. They followed Ben as he went to chase after Aldoken and Casaria. You giggled as you watched them be chased around the bedroom before moving out into the main area of the house.
The whole thing went on for a while before the tickle monster managed to catch them both at the same time. Lifting them, he brought them to the couch and reduced them into little balls of giggles. He was on his knees on the floor and you couldn’t help but laugh when Boga put her front paws on Ben’s back, trying her best to lick his face.
Boga managed to distract Ben long enough for the children to escape and come running behind you. Each of them hugged one of your legs as they peered out to watch their father.
“Alright, alright,” Ben started, slipping his mask off and running a hand through his hair, “I’m done.”
He chuckled when he saw Casaria and Aldoken cautiously come out from their hiding place. With your own laugh, you ruffled the soft red hair of Aldoken.
“Or am I?” Ben said before falsely moving to chase them again.
With giggles and happy squeals, they ran off into yours and Ben’s room. The dogs easily followed them which left you alone with your husband for at least a few moments. The fact that you could hear the two siblings telling each other to hide guaranteed that.
“Welcome home, darling,” Ben said, wrapping you in his arms, his hands resting at the small of your back as he kissed you. You smiled against his lips as he slowly swayed from side to side.
Resting your forehead against his, you placed a hand on his chest. “I see the three of you had a fun morning.”
Ben hummed in agreement. “They really know how to keep me on my toes, that’s for sure.”
“Did something happen?” you asked, pulling back to look at him, concern now filling you.
“No, darling,” he said, cupping your cheek, “everything was fine. It’s been an excitement filled day. You know how much they’ve been looking forward to going to this pumpkin patch.”
You relaxed, now letting yourself lean into his touch.
“Besides,” he once again started, leaning in to place a kiss to your now exposed neck, “you would be the first to know of any troubles.” He continued to leave a trail of kisses, making you giggle with his now grown out beard tickling the sensitive skin.
“Obi,” you said after fighting off a shiver as his teeth lightly grazed that spot on your neck. “The children.”
He sighed, placing one more kiss on your neck before pulling back to look in your eyes. You could see how much he wanted you, but the five and four year-old were just in the other room.
“Plus, they’ve been waiting all week for this.”
“As always, my dear, you are correct,” he said, slight disappointment in his tone.
Leaning in, you whispered into his ear, “Remember. Brian and Siara said they would watch them tonight.”
When you pulled back, you saw a mischievous glint in his eye before being interrupted. Daisy came running out asking why her father didn’t actually chase them.
“I was giving you the chance to hide first,” Ben said as he crouched down. “Now, you better go and hide quickly. I was about to come and find you but I guess I can wait a little longer.”
He gave a little tickle under her chin, causing her to giggle before running off again.
“Did you get their things ready?” you asked as he stood back up.
“Of course, my dear. Now, I better go find them before they get annoyed with me,” he said as he kissed your cheek. “Their bags are on top of their beds.”
With that, he was off to wrangle the two little ones while you got the last of their things ready. You were excited to take them to the pumpkin patch.
-
The pumpkin patch wasn’t anything super special. It was basically just a field of pumpkins. However, there was a corn maze. The owner did do hay rides as well. Besides from that, there wasn’t much.
Aldoken and Casaria were more than ecstatic, though. It helped that they had Siara and Brian, who they viewed as their aunt and uncle, along with them.
Siara had decided, because she always spoiled them, to stop somewhere and get them candy apples. Even though you and Ben had already gotten the two hot chocolates, your friend got them even more. Usually Brian would’ve tried to get Siara to dull down the amount, he seemed to only encourage this.
“What? It’s autumn. They deserve to be immersed in it,” Siara stated when you gave her a mildly disapproving look.
“Well, you’re the one that gets to deal with their sugar high,” Ben pointed out, wrapping an arm around your shoulders and giving you a squeeze.
Looking at him, his gaze was soft. You leaned into the warmth of him and the softness of his peacoat. He pressed a kiss to your forehead before turning his attention back to your children. They were running around while playing with the owner’s dog. Their running steps were loud from all of the coloured leaves that had fallen from the surrounding maple trees.
It wasn’t long before both Casaria and Aldoken were begging for you and Ben to join them in the corn maze. After that, they were dragging their aunt and uncle along with them. Casaria wanted to show off how she was able to navigate it without hitting a single deadend.
When the owner came around with the tractor, though, is when they really got excited. The man was nice enough to give them multiple rides as they sang halloween songs that they learned from school or daycare.
While you listened with a smile, you leaned against your husband. His arm that wrapped around you rested on your waist as he hummed along with them. You weren’t too surprised he knew them. Your two bundles of joy only sang them every day. However, you wouldn’t be surprised if he also taught them some. Ben did always have a way with kids even before your own came along.
Once the fifth round was over you thanked the owner.
“It was my pleasure. These two little ones made it worthwhile,” he told you. With a tip of his baseball cap, he drove the tractor back which left your little group alone again.
You were slightly surprised that no one else was here when you arrived. However, this place wasn’t as popular. There was a whole orchard that was a lot more popular and more commonly visited.
All this being said, you weren’t complaining. It left your family to be able to have a little private experience.
“May we pick our pumpkins now, daddy?” Aldoken asked after going through the maze with Ben. The question came right as they walked out.
“Yeah!” Casaria chimed in, lightly pulling on your sleeve. “May we, mommy?”
Before either you or Ben could answer, Siara replied, “Of course you can. Come on! Uncle Brian and I will help you pick them out.”
Her response was met by excited cheers as they went into the field. You could only manage a playful eye roll as Siara left before you could protest.
“Always on the move,” Ben muttered when he stepped up behind you.
You chuckled. “Sometimes I wonder if Siara isn’t just our third child,” you joked.
Ben laughed, pressing a kiss to your temple as his arms wrapped around you, his hands resting on your stomach. You leaned back into him, your head resting on his shoulder. “You would think that we’d be saying that about Paisley.”
You hummed in agreement. It was true. Of Siara and Paisley, Paisley was the one that always had the unending energy. Yet, when she was with your children, the energy was still there but she shifted into a more parental role. Whether or not it was because her and Freddy were now expecting, you weren’t sure.
“Should we join them?” you asked quietly from your place against his shoulder. You could see how seriously your son and daughter were taking this. How they were looking for, most likely, the biggest and best pumpkins.
“We should,” he replied but didn’t make any move to let you go before adding, “in a few moments.”
With that, he began to nuzzle your cheek with his nose before placing a kiss there. Slowly, he continued his pattern of nuzzling you then pressing a kiss as he trailed down to your neck.
Putting a hand over his cheek, you gently called out his name trying to get his attention although you tilted your head to give him more access.
Your husband didn’t pull away at first. Not until you lightly scratched his bearded cheek while saying, “Obi-Wan. We’re still not alone,” with a small chuckle. It didn’t matter how used to it you were. The gentle scratch of his beard would always tickle you.
Ben sighed before pulling back. The look in his eyes had you almost change your mind.
“Alright, my dear. I’ll behave,” he said teasingly. Although he was being playful, you could see how much he wanted to just kiss you. Sure, kissing in front of your children was not an unusual thing but you knew it would lead to more.
“Hmm,” you began, a plan now formulating. “Maybe, if you continue to behave, I may have a little reward.”
You watched, more like felt, as your husband shuddered.
“Give it half an hour. Then it’s just the two of us.”
With that, he smiled. You knew that Ben, just like the kids, was excited for today. Just for very different reasons.
-
If you had to lift those pumpkins on your own, you don’t think you would hardly be able to do it once. Two times was unthinkable. Had Ben not been there, you wouldn’t be able to get both of the giant pumpkins for your children back home.
Once they were loaded in the trunk, Aldoken and Casaria grabbed their bags from the backseat. They transferred their things into Siara and Brian’s car as you and Ben got the carseats out. Brian said he would set them up while you said goodbye.
“Now be good. Not too much candy, alright?” you teased your son and daughter. You knew that your request wouldn’t be met, but they nodded anyway.
“And remember,” Ben said, signalling for the two to come closer so he could whisper, “Uncle Brian is ticklish under his armpits. Make sure to do it when he least expects it.”
Casaria and Aldoken giggled and nodded as Ben winked.
“You two little rascals ready?” Siara said as she came around her car.
Each of them nodded before turning back to you and their father, giving you each tight hugs. Giving them kisses, you exchanged quick, “I love you,”s before they climbed into the vehicle. You reminded them to behave before the doors were being shut.
With that, you and Ben were alone.
Not wasting much time, he pulled you against him, his hands at the small of your back.
“I believe you owe me a reward,” he said with a smug smirk.
You tsked him teasingly. “My, my. How impatient, Mr. Kenobi. And here I thought you were a man of patience,” you teased.
His smug smirk only grew. “I apologize, Mrs. Kenobi. Unfortunately my reputation doesn’t always precede me.”
You couldn’t help but chuckle as your hands played with the lapels of his coat. Although you and Ben have been married for nearly five years, you still felt a flow of joy when you were called by his name.
“Well, I guess you have been waiting long enough.”
Ben’s eyes shone with anticipation. The two of you have had such little time alone that moments like this were far from wasted.
“What did you have in mind?”
With a cheeky smirk, you pulled away but caught his hand in yours. You proceeded with pulling him along with you, nearly making him fall from the suddenness. It wasn’t until you were standing in the middle of the pumpkin patch did you stop.
He practically came crashing into you with how abruptly you stopped.
“And here I thought I was the one being impatient,” Ben said with a laugh.
You smiled as you pushed away some of the stray hairs from his forehead. When you brought your hand to his cheek, he leaned into it. He turned just enough so he could place a kiss to your pulse point on your wrist.
“Have you ever been kissed in a pumpkin patch?”
The question slightly took Ben by surprise. Even so, the surprise quickly melted as he looked at you. Now, all you saw was complete adoration in his eyes as he shook his head.
“I don’t believe I have been.”
“Let me change that,” you said before pressing your lips to his. He pulled you even closer, causing you to gasp and allowing for him to slip his tongue into your mouth.
The two of you sighed as your tongues met. It had felt as if it had been years since the two of you just simply kissed like this. This was something you nearly forgot you loved. The thought of having a whole night like this nearly made your head spin.
When Ben pulled away, you made a small sound of protest.
Chuckling, he brought a hand to your cheek. “I love you so much, darling.”
“I love you too, Obi,” you replied as a breeze came in causing one of the falling leaves to hit Ben square in the face.
Bursting out in laughter, he sputtered as it must’ve gotten partially in his mouth.
He smiled when he saw your reaction. “Oh you think that’s funny?”
You gave him a cheeky smirk. “I do.”
“Well, then I guess you’d like to know how it tastes,” he says before kissing you again, playfully pressing his tongue to your bottom lip. You tried your best to keep your mouth closed as you squirmed against him.
Now it was his turn to laugh.
“You’re such a josher,” you joked as your laughter died down.
“Thank you. I try my best.”
You roll your eyes before kissing him in the cool autumn air.

The gentle drizzle pattered against the window of your room. It tapped against the glass almost like a carefully conducted melody that was accentuated by the steady breathing from the man behind you.
An arm was draped over your waist and his hand laid on the bare part of your stomach where it had ridden up in the night. It held a comforting warmth that you greatly enjoyed as it also worked to hold you close against his front.
His face was nestled into the side of your neck, the stubble only lightly scratching against your neck. The breath was warm and relaxed as he exhaled.
Not daring to move from this position, you smiled to yourself. This was the first day in a few weeks that Obi-Wan has finally been able to have proper time at home. He’s been so wrapped up in work that he’s even had to spend most nights at Siara’s or had fallen asleep at his desk. So, this had been the first night he had been properly able to come into bed.
You felt as he made a grumbling hum while he slightly shifted into an even more comfortable position. At first, you thought he was still asleep until he pressed a kiss to your neck.
“Good morning,” you almost whispered, turning your head slightly in an attempt to look at him. Instead, you settled for bringing a hand to rest against his cheek.
He hummed in contentment, then said, muffled into your hair, “Good morning, dearest.”
The deep contented sigh tickled your neck and you couldn’t help but giggle. Careful not to disrupt too much, you turned around to face him.
In the dim lighting, his cerulean eyes still managed to glow. It was a sight that always brought a warm flood of happiness for this man. Only, today it was with a bittersweet twinge as the one day he finally had off, you had work.
Obi-Wan clearly saw the slight frown in the moment. He found your hand and brought it to his lips, kissing the ring that lay there.
“Won’t you stay in bed a bit longer?” he said with the adorable pleading look you could rarely ever refuse. “It’s so gloomy outside to start your day.”
You couldn’t help but laugh at his almost child-like desperation to get you to stay. Yet, you’d be lying if it didn’t constantly actually work wonders. Even then, if you were able to resist that much, he was too stubborn to take no as an answer.
“Fine,” he looked hopeful, “but, you have to promise that you’ll actually let me get my work done.”
“But-”
Using the hand that he still held close, you put a finger over his lips which curled into a smile.
“It won’t take long. After that, we can finally have some time alone.”
Obi-Wan, to your slight surprise, accepted these conditions rather quickly. He pulled you close again, your head now burying into chest as his arms wrapped against you. Both of you immediately relaxed into the other and enjoyed the other’s warmth as you listened to his heartbeat that combined with the sound of the rain outside.
“I love you, darling,” Obi-Wan said drowsily, placing a lazy kiss to the top of your head before he rested his head once again. It didn’t take him long for him to doze off, and you could feel sleep pulling on you again. You didn’t fight it and instead embraced it. Perhaps sleeping in on a rainy Sunday morning your fiancé wouldn’t hurt.
A/N: So, The Phantom of the Opera is a huge love of mine, and @where-fantasy-meets-reality and I started talking about it and voila, out came this. The song used is called 'All I Ask of You'. I hope you all enjoy😊

When he had asked what your favourite musical was you had no idea that it would lead to this. A few weeks prior, you had been sitting in your classroom, now silent as your students had made their way out for lunch. Usually, a few would stay in and finish some work, ask you some questions about physics or calculus, but today was one of the glorious days that you had for yourself.
So, when you got a text from Obi-Wan, it only made it better.
Obi-Wan: Are you busy?
You chuckled to yourself. He knew, even if any of your high school students had stayed behind, that you wouldn’t be.
You: I’ll give you one guess.
It wasn’t even two seconds later when your phone started buzzing with his call, the picture of the two of you on your screen making you smile before answering.
“Congratulations,” you say with a teasing lilt, “you guessed correctly.”
The sound of his chuckle made you smile even wider.
“I’m glad,” he replied. By his tone, you knew that he was also smiling. By the silence in the background, you figured that he was probably in his office, away from his own students of the university.
“Aren’t you supposed to be at the department meeting?” you asked as you looked down at your watch. You keenly remember him complaining about it before you had left the house this morning.
“It was canceled to my immense relief. That’s beside the point. I have a question to ask you.”
“You’ve piqued my interest.”
He chuckled, “You said your favourite musical was The Phantom of the Opera, correct?”
Now, you were slightly confused. “Yes. May I ask why you ask?”
“Oh, no reason. Just planning a little surprise.” With the way he said that he had a sly smile spreading his lips.
That day, you had been counting the days until you were supposed to go on your trip with Obi-Wan, constantly daydreaming about walking the streets of London, England with Obi-Wan. It wasn’t much longer until you really were.
By this time, you had completely forgotten about that conversation. It had helped as the two of you had only done some sightseeing along with spending some quality time with each other, spending some time in quiet cafes and enjoying the silent and relaxing moments in your shared hotel room.
“You’re being very secretive, Obi,” you stated as he was dodging the reason as to why the two of you were dressing up for the evening.
The care you had got momentarily wiped from your mind as he came out of the washroom donning the most stunning suit you’d ever seen him in. His jacket, a dark blue. His slacks were black, which matched the bowtie. His dress shirt was a white that perfectly contrasted the rest of his wardrobe. You may be used to seeing him in his button ups, but this was a level you rarely got to see.
“Like what you see,” he said, a cocky crooked smile plastered on his face as he broke you out of your reverie.
You gave him a mock look of unamusement before pressing more.
“Seriously, Obi-Wan. What’s so special about tonight?”
He didn’t answer, only looked you up and down, letting his eyes stop at the necklace he had bought for you a couple days prior. “You’re stunning,” he almost whispered, trailing his eyes up to meet yours.
“Fine, I give up,” you say, walking towards him until you were close enough to rest your hands on his chest. “Also, thank you,” you continued, grabbing his lapels as you moved closer to his lips, “you don’t look too bad yourself.” Your own teasing smirk now showed as you said that.
“Cheeky,” he said, smiling, before closing the last of the distance and pressing his lips to yours.
You melted into the warm embrace before pulling away, causing him to chase after your lips as you knew he wanted more. Although it was to stop from being late to whatever Obi-Wan had planned, it was mainly to tease him.
“We don’t want to be late for your secrets, now do we?”
He groaned in disappointment, trying to steal another kiss as you kept your lips not far from his, still holding his lapels. You were too fast, pulling away far enough for him to huff in annoyance.
All you did was chuckle before making your way over to the door where you had placed your shoes.
Reluctantly, Obi-Wan followed and grabbed anything that was needed before heading out the door.
So, here you were walking through the streets of London with your arm hooked through Obi-Wan’s as you came into view of the Royal Albert Hall.
You froze as you took in the sight of the building. There were people streaming in all dressed up like you and Obi-Wan were.
“Darling, are you alright?” Obi-Wan’s eyes were filled with genuine concern as he turned to look at you.
You pointed, “Is that where we’re going?”
Obi-Wan smiled brightly. Nodding his head, he leaned in close, whispering, “Surprise.”
“But, what are we seeing?”
The only thing he did was grin before continuing your walk towards the building. That’s when it all came flooding back to you, the conversation from a few weeks ago.
“You didn’t,” you said unbelievingly, your smile growing bigger with every step you take closer to the Royal Albert Hall.
“Oh, I did,” he came back. You couldn’t help but laugh. Some may think that getting this happy about an opera musical would be stupid, but this was your life. You had grown up with it. Listening to multiple cast recordings, and then going insane when the movie came out. Not to mention that Gerard Butler was playing the Phantom, you were in love.
The rest of the process of getting into the hall all passed in a blur. It was as if you were in a dream. You had watched the performance they had here in 2011 for the 25th anniversary.
One moment, you were outside. The next, you were in a box seat close to the stage, just you and Obi-Wan. As you marvelled at your surroundings, he took your hand into his, intertwining your fingers together as you pulled his hand into your lap, covering your other hand over top of them.
You were squeezing his hand so much that you were sure you were cutting off his circulation. Yet, if you were, he didn’t say anything about it. He was more enamoured with watching your fascination.
Silence was all that surrounded the two of you. Obi-Wan had no intentions of disrupting you from this. He knew this was your dream, and he could only be grateful that he was here to see it. The wonder in your eyes just reminded him of how much he loved you.
Then, as the cue for the show to begin started, any part of him that wanted to have any attention from you disappeared. This was all for you, he wanted this to be for you. You always spent so much time treating him, all he wanted to do was the same for you. So, he stayed silent as the music began.
The way you had leaned forward in your seat made him smile. He loved how you squeezed his hand at different scenes.
As the scenes continued, he did have his own plan. But first he had to make sure it wouldn’t be unwelcomed. To test it, he gently squeezed your hand. You looked back at him, and he carefully pulled you back just enough so that you were leaning against him.
It was just in time as the song he was waiting for started.
“No more talk of darkness, forget these wide-eyed fears; I’m here, nothing can harm you,” the actor sang, and Obi-Wan started humming. Seeing your eyes widen was worth everything.
He continued to hum for a few more lines, occasionally adding in some of the words. Then, leaning in closer to your ear, he sang, “Then say you’ll share with me one love, one lifetime.”
The way he sang that line made you turn from your place against him. He was smiling, continuing the lines flawlessly even as he moved and took both of your hands in his, turning so that he was facing you. Although he stayed quiet enough not to disrupt anyone else who was watching, his was the only voice you could hear.
“Say you’ll share with me one love, one lifetime; Say the word and I will follow you.”
He slowly moved from his seat and you finally realised what was happening. Tears started to fill your eyes as you felt yourself smile larger than you ever had before.
“Share each day with me, each night, each morning.”
His clear blue eyes shone as he stared into yours. There was so much sincerity, such sureness in them as he stayed silent for the next couple of lines.
“That’s all I ask of you,” he and the song ended.
He was kneeling on one knee before you, looking at you with as much love as you felt for him. There was so much that you felt like you were going to explode with happiness as the scene stayed quiet as the Phantom began.
Then, Obi-Wan reached into a pocket, retrieving a box. When he opened it up, it revealed the most beautiful ring you had ever seen. You had to use your free hand to cover your mouth to stifle a happy sob.
“Will you share with me one love, one lifetime, and marry me?” he said quietly, once again to not only not disrupt the other watchers, but to keep this moment just between the two of you.
And, in a breath, you answer, “Yes.”
Obi-Wan’s smile grew big as he leaned in to kiss you. He kissed you like it was the first and the last time he ever would.
“I love you,” he whispered.
Before you could answer, you felt him take your left hand, slipping the ring onto your finger while taking his place back on the chair. Looking at the ring that now sits on your finger, you smiled.
“I love you too, Obi-Wan.”
Although it was now the end of the act, the two of you sat together in the box. You were leaning against him, now reveling in the thought that you would now spend the rest of your life with the man you loved more than anything.
