so my best friend @c0wb0y-k3lly is working on a new fanfic, and i'm here to yap about it

the au is called The View Between Villages and me being the crutchie stan i am, i had to get in on it and help them with character designs, writing, and all of the like. soooo here's my charlie design! (below cut)

Some Newsies headcannons please?? 💕

•they’d be in college at this point

•Jack, Kath, Crutchie, and Davey live together

•So do Smalls, Race, and Albert, and it’s absolute chaos

•Race starts a group chat so they can keep tabs on whatever they’re doing(see the group chat fic i posted earlier this week)

•Jack takes the time to paint and probably play video games

•Davey studies and cleans everything. He’s already super germphobic so this has the poor guy on edge

•Katherine writes basically the entire time and is running out of prompts. She also is on the phone with smalls 24/7

•Crutchie is just chilling and helps the other three with whatever they’re doing

•Race cannot fucking sit still so he’s always doing something, whether it’s posting tiktoks of everything he does or spamming Spot or Davey with vine comps

•Smalls is always making weird food combos with whatever they have lying around and vlogging Race, Albert, and her plush rowlet named Philip.

•Albert enjoys hiding Philip around the house and trying(and failing) to make those stupidly complicated Rube Goldberg machines.

•Davey ordered so much handsanitizer in bulk as soon as quarantine started

•Albert panic bought like thirty packages of toilet paper so Smalls tp’d his room after he hid Philip once

Modern Crutchie

Headcannon that crutchie has trouble sleeping at night

-at first it started off as losing a few hours here and there

-it soon became only a few hours a night

-he doesn't know why he's losing all this sleep

-he always feels fully rested but he never looks it

-he's not sick or anything

-poor boy just doesn't sleep

-crutchie accidentally woke jack up early one morning

-"crutch,,,, what time did you wake up?" "Its a bit bold of you to assume I've even slept."

-jack question him but he just ??? doesn't sleep that often

-if one of the other newsies gets a nightmare you know he's right there comforting them

-he's also the nap king™

-if he's tired he'll fall asleep anywhere anytime

-he once fell asleep waiting inline to get his papers

-standing up

Modern day:

-crutchie will just nap when he can throughout the day and not sleep at night

-definitely watches nature documentaries till early dawn

-showers at least 3 hours before anyone else is awake

-sleeps like a baby in class

-he once slept through an 2 periods without anyone noticing

-locker room naps!!!

-the teachers don't even question him any more and they all joke about it with him
