Of course Fran remembered Fang very well. She still remembered the first time they have met while she was passing a test to be hired at her current garage. She also recalled her coming to her apartment after that stupid young man attacked her at night.

It had been a while since she last heard of her now that she took a moment to think about it. Although, she highly doubted she would try to contact her using such images.

The name written, however, caught her eye immediately.

Who puts upthe holiday decorations? Fran. She doesn’t look like it, but she enjoys theholidays. Pretty sure Seifer was surprised the first time he walked into herapartment during that time of the year and saw ALL the things she put around toget into the mood of Christmas and New Year’s Eve. I’m also convinced heappreciates how quickly she removes them when that time of the year has passed.

Who eatsthe others uneaten pizza crusts? Seifer and it’s almost a ritual when they eatpizza. Like, without a word, Fran would put the crust in her plate and he wouldjust take it like it was his and eats it, whether they were talking, watching amovie or at a restaurant. He doesn’t ask for permission and she doesn’t offerto him. That’s just how they work.

Who alwaysforgets to pick up their wet towels in the bathroom? Seifer and it drives Francrazy because she’s the one who uses like at least two or three towels becauseof her hair and she never forgets to pick them up.

Who talkssmack while playing video games? It was already established they both do it andI honestly don’t see that changing over the years, even when they’re wrinkledby old age. Stories of their video game wars were told to many generations in their family (aka to their grandkids).

Who watchesJeopardy and calls out the answers? Seifer watches the show, but Fran is theone who would just pass by and answer the questions when she hears them. She’sright almost every time so at some point, they would turn this into a game andmake bets about if Fran get it right or not. Prices for winning the bets are for adults only.

Who is morelikely to cry over a sad book or movie? Neither. Teary-eyed at best if it’s a sad dog story on both parts.

Who singsalong with the radio? Both. Fran is more of a humming and mumbling to herselftype but Seifer definitely sings over the song.

Who fallsasleep on the other? Depends who needs comfort most. Fran would when she hadsome sort of panic attack about thinking her past will catch up to her (the Dontaking her back by force or him killing Seifer for her disobedience) or whenshe had a really shitty day with people doubting her skills or after sex. ForSeifer, it would be after a nightmare about his mission in the army or just oneof those days he hates humanity (and nothing beats comfort like resting on thebreasts of his sexy lady) or after makeup sex (because when these two fight, itgets really intense and when they “kiss and makeup”, he wants her to be therein the morning because he still fears she would run away some times).

He was dirty and smelled like he spent his day at the garage with Mindy. To say she wasn’t jealous would be a lie. Why didn’t he work with her on bikes and cars? She was a good mechanic after all.

However, his kiss made her forget all those dark thoughts. He was in a good mood. It was such a rare sight lately.

“Welcome home,” she whispered before grabbing his collar and pressing her lips against his own. She didn’t care if her white blouse was going to be stained or if his fingers with slightly dark tips were to grab a handful of her perfectly white hair. “How about you take a shower while I finish up cooking? Then we will watch a movie and I will wear that sexy pyjama you like.”

It was his day off. They had both looking forward to it for the last three days. His parents were babysitting their baby and he won movie tickets at some cop event the week before for the latest action movie. Honestly, any movie would have been fine at this point. They just wanted to be the two of them.

But he had been working too much. Sometimes, three hours or more by shift. Others, double shift. And recently, he had been working even during his days off. But he didn’t mind. With the baby and Fran on maternity leave, they needed the extra cash.

So when the guy came in with his shotgun, he forgot he was not on active duty. He forgot he wasn’t carrying his gun or his bulletproof vest. He reached for his belt and the thief saw it. He turned his shotgun toward Seifer and Fran shielded him with her body, taking the rounds in her back.

It was stupid. She could have just pulled him behind the shelf where she had been hiding. And the thief never saw the huge black guy behind him who knocked him out after he shot.

It was a stupid accident. It could have been avoided.

Seifer did his best to keep her with him. He told her about their baby, about how much they worked too hard for her to leave him now, not when their life was finally normal. Her gang left the country years ago. They went through the loss of their firstborn. She had no right to give up now.

“I love you.” All these years running, killing for a man who she considered almost like a father, all this time fearing her past would catch her and among all this confusion, she met him. “I....” Her guiding light. Broken. Patched up. Hurt. But hers.

Death cold fingers grabbed her before she could tell him how grateful she was to him. Her last thought was to hope he knew and that she had the chance to see her child smile at her before leaving.

She collapsed in the kitchen while cooking breakfast and he caught her just in time. The rest happened in confusion and when she came to, she was in bed, whispering to him to not get too close to her.

Of course, he refused. And she smiled at his stubbornness.

“I do not want you to stress about missing a day of work.” She rubbed his bicep. “A bartender cannot flirt and get extra tips with a running nose.” She coughed hard and felt almost as if her lungs would come out that way.

I REQUIRE SEIFER/FRAN FOR THE MEME

Gives nose/forehead kisses: Seifer gives nose kisses. Fran gets the forehead ones.

Gets jealous the most: Neither. Seifer would have told her it was over if Fran would get jealous every time he gets flirt with at the bar and vice versa (they are both beautiful people after all). Actually, Fran likes to see all those girls flirting with Seifer during his shifts at 7th Heaven. It means more tips for him and she has no remorse asking for a little something a few days later. Little something being a movie or some flowers. She’s an old fashioned lady sometimes.

Picks the other up from the bar when they’re too drunk to drive: Fran. She only gets drunk when Seifer is with her so that makes him more likely to call her to pick him up.

Takes care of on sick days: Seifer. He must almost tie her down to force to STOP DOING STUFF AND RELAX. No sexual pun implied. (Although we all know a little virus won’t stop them unless someone is puking. Now THAT’S a no go.)

Drags the other person out into the water on beach day: More like “Grab the girlfriend, throw her over my shoulder and throws her into the water” follows by “It was all fun and games until I was reminded that she used to work with drug dealers and now she wants revenge.” Short answer: Seifer.

Gives unprompted massages: Both.

Drives/rides shotgun: To avoid fights (because it happened), they agreed that the one who is paying the car rides it under the express condition the other controls the music. So…it depends.

Brings the other lunch at work: Fran as part of Seifer’s evil plan to brag about his sexy girlfriend/wife to his coworkers. She started to had her doubts after the 10th time in a row and the whispers around. She played the game only because she didn’t mind to see him at work and because he had the most handsome smile when she did.

Has the better parental relationship: That would be Seifer since Fran’s parents died years ago.

Tries to start role-playing in bed: Seifer as part of a joke. Turns out they kind of like it.

Embarrassingly drunk dancer: FRAN!!! And Seifer thinks it’s funny until a dumbass tries to cop a feel.

Still cries watching Titanic: Neither. This movie is totally NOT in their repertoire. (But Fran does like to watch girl movies sometimes)

Firmly believes in couples costumes: Fran

Breaks the expensive gift rule during Christmas: Both

Makes the other eat breakfast: Fran most days. Seifer on weekends or days off (because he’s the one cooking)

Remembers anniversaries: Fran

Brings up having kids: Fran (the one that wasn’t an accident anyway)

To be honest, I can imagine Seifer forgetting his lunch often just so Fran would come to the police station to bring it to him and he could brag to everyone about how sexy his girlfriend/wife is.

And she probably knows so she plays the charming card every time just to give him the opportunity to brag ‘properly’ about how awesome she is as well.
