Of course they loved each other during the Yuan Dinasty...However, that love wasn't that long lasting...
They soon realized they were too different, and they were both toxic af... so they were acting like they were already divorced, even in the late years of the Yuan Dinasty hahaha
Time pass by, and once the Mongol Empire fell China and Mongolia were still "married" as now Mongolia's land was China's, but still they hated each other so much they even didn't see each other unless they had no other choice.
China doesn't like Mongolia at all and prefers to control him so much that he tried to avoid Mongolia joining the UN as much as he could (spoiler: he wasn't succesful).
