Love to sew or perhaps you enjoy the artwork of sewing pattern envelopes or have an interest in the history of fashion? If you do, come on over to my and my spouse's eBay shop, geekfamilycollegefund.
Not a dealer, nor an estate and garage sale shopper. Every single pattern is my own. I just spent a month photographing and writing up 96 patterns that I weeded out of my own stash, adding to the remaining 120 that were my spouse's grandmother's.
Patterns from 1996 to 2025 come from my own personal collection. Patterns from the 1930’s through the 1980’s were inherited from said grandmother-in-law.
What kind of patterns? I was/still am a comfy clothes, coats, hats, mittens, Halloween costumes (that I'd often use as a base to turn into video and card game characters,) and historical(ish) clothing sewer with some crafts (stuffed animals, bags, holiday crafts, a play tent) thrown in for flavor. I did some for-pay sewing, but nowhere close to the volume my GMIL did. GMIL sewed practical every day clothing for her sons, daughter, and husband, but also a lot of dresses on commission. In other words - a wide variety.
We also sell other things like sci-fi collectables (more coming next month,) wall hangings, a Fenton Art Glass t-shirt, postcards, Glee hats, magazines, photo stills, and books. There are over 350 items in our shop and we have a 100% positive seller rating.
Combined shipping can be arranged. Smoke free, cat free, peanut, and tree nut free home.
Thanks for reading. I hope you take a look. :)
